Originally written in the summer of 2021, this mysterious little short slipped through the cracks and has finally been read for the podcast... with a lengthy afterword.

The second story in the Sable's Tales fairytale anthology to be read on The Side B Anthology is Scarlet, my liberal adaptation of versions of the classic European fairytale by the name of Little Red Riding Hood or Little Red Cap. I took some inspiration for themes and imagery in the tale from ALICE NINE.'s songs Scarlet and RUMWOLF as well.

This marks the first in a new collection called Sable's Tales, which will feature my adaptations of classic fairytales.
The final chapter of The Everyforest novella, an original story written to be read aloud for the podcast. The book in its entirety will be re-edited and formatted to be released later this year as an ebook as well as in paperback format.

I really enjoy listening to music with lyrics in languages that I don't understand. Though being able to understand lyrics and appreciate the explicit meaning in a song is beautiful, there is also something beautiful about appreciating lyrics for their musicality in and of itself. When you understand a language, your brain focuses more on decoding the meaning than on appreciating the sounds of the words. It's just two very different experiences. I enjoy both.
