Kaitlin opens up about the subtle art of recognizing when a goal is no longer serving you and how letting go can open doors to deeper fulfillment and purpose.
You'll hear Kaitlin’s candid reflections on her own journey of releasing goals that no longer resonate, from the marathon she realized she didn’t need to run, to the big event that just didn’t align with her true mission. With heart and humor, she challenges the notion that “quitting” is failure and encourages us to see it instead as a powerful pivot toward what really matters.
If you’re feeling weighed down by goals you “should” achieve but no longer desire, this episode will inspire you to assess, release, and reclaim your energy for goals that truly light you up.

Welcome back to another episode of the Beam Life podcast. I am excited to dive into a topic that's been on my mind lately—underrated self-care tips. And let me tell you, this episode is going to be raw, unscripted, and straight from the heart, just like every other episode of this organic podcast.
So, let me give you a little background. I recently took a trip to Texas, and honestly, it wasn't under the happiest circumstances. It was for a funeral. My stepdad had been ill for some time, and even though we knew the day would come, it still hits you hard. Gathering with my family, who have a wide range of personalities and quirks, always brings about some chaos (in a good way). But it also drains me emotionally.
Now, this trip was a combination of factors that left me feeling creatively stumped, exhausted, and not quite like myself. Can you relate? I bet you can. We all have moments like these when life throws us curveballs and we need to find a way to recharge and take care of ourselves.
That's why I felt compelled to share these underrated self-care tips with you today. I want to explore accessible ways to nurture yourself that have a lasting impact beyond the time you invest in them. We won't be talking about the typical indulgences like bubble baths and massages (although I adore those too). Instead, I'll be sharing some less obvious tips that can truly make a difference.
I hope one or ALL of these underrated self-care tips resonates with you and that you'll give them a try.

On this week’s episode I talk about "The Consistency Code" and the 5 traits of a consistent person.
I was inspired to discuss this topic by my recent re-commitment to marathon training and the positive impact it has had on other areas of my life, such as parenting, emotional resilience, and business. By developing consistent habits and patterns, we can improve our reliability, discipline, perseverance, accountability, and organization.
Consistency is essential to achieving our goals and making progress in all areas of our lives. It helps us to develop habits, routines, and patterns that keep us on track and moving forward towards our desired outcomes. When we are consistent, we build trust and reliability with ourselves and others. We demonstrate our commitment and dedication to our goals, and we develop a sense of discipline and self-control that helps us overcome obstacles and challenges.
Consistency also helps us to stay accountable for our actions and to take responsibility for our mistakes. It allows us to learn from our failures and make adjustments as needed to continue making progress towards our desired outcomes. In contrast, when we lack consistency, we can struggle to achieve our goals and make progress towards success. We may feel overwhelmed, distracted, or unmotivated, which can lead to procrastination, inconsistency, and failure to follow through on our commitments.
It's crucial to cultivate consistency in our lives, whether it's through daily habits, routines, or schedules.
PODCAST LISTENER OF THE WEEK: In addition to sharing the 5 traits of a consistent person, I am excited to announce the podcast listener of the week! Today's episode is all about investing in yourself, girl. And I don't just mean financially, I mean investing in all aspects of your life!
With tax season here, I did some reflection on where I spent most of my money in 2022, and babe, it was all about personal growth and experiences. And you know what, that's not surprising at all because investing in yourself always pays off in the end!
Investing in yourself can look different for everyone. Maybe it's taking a course to learn a new skill, attending a workshop or seminar, reading books, traveling to a new place, or even practicing some good ol' self-care. Whatever it is, it's all about helping you grow as a person and adding some major value to your life!
Here's the deal, investing in yourself gives you the biggest ROI (Return on Investment) because the skills, knowledge, and experiences you acquire stay with you forever. And let's be real, this investment pays off in both your personal and professional life. When you grow and develop, you become more confident, competent, and valuable to everyone around you.
Plus, investing in yourself helps create a positive mindset, which is so important for success in any area of your life. When you invest in yourself, you're saying that you believe in yourself and your potential, and that positive energy radiates into all areas of your life.
I encourage you to take some time to reflect on where you've been investing your time, money, and energy and make sure you're investing in yourself, too. Always remember that the skills, knowledge, and experiences you acquire will always pay off in the long run.
If you want more support on what it would look like to invest in yourself and work together, click here to book a discovery call. Let's chat and see how we can help you invest in yourself and become the best version of you.
Thank you for tuning in to The BEAM Life podcast, and I'll catch you in the next episode!
This episode is all about “enoughness.” I share a personal message about feeling enough as a woman who wears many hats. I almost didn't record this episode because I’m getting married this weekend! But, a big part of marriage is feeling enough in yourself and having your partner love and accept you for who you are, as you are.
I also talk about the pressure that society puts on women to be perfect. I give you the tools to use when you feel like you’re doing it all but it’s still not enough, and how to identify areas of your life where showing up as close to 100% as possible is important, and areas where being average is good enough.
We juggle many roles in a day, and on top of that, we feel the pressure to be smart, sexy, fashionable, successful, in shape, spiritual, and all the things. We can't be everything to everyone and there really isn't a standard of perfect.

On today's episode, I dive into the topic of limiting beliefs and how to overcome them. No matter how successful you are, everyone has limiting beliefs that can hold them back from reaching their full potential.
I start off the episode by discussing the importance of awareness in overcoming limiting beliefs. We cannot change what we are not aware of, so it's essential to first identify and understand our beliefs. I then discuss how to pinpoint where these beliefs come from, whether they're self-imposed or influenced by external factors.
Next, I introduce a six-step approach to breaking down and getting rid of limiting beliefs. This approach includes acknowledging the belief, challenging it, reframing the belief, creating a new belief, taking action, and reinforcing the new belief. I provide examples and practical tips for each step, so you can apply this approach to your own limiting beliefs.
I also discuss how overcoming limiting beliefs is an ongoing process, and it requires commitment and consistency. It's essential to practice self-awareness and continue to challenge and reframe our beliefs regularly.
Overall, this episode provides valuable insights and practical tips for overcoming limiting beliefs and unlocking our full potential. So, tune in and join me on this journey of personal growth and self-improvement.
I know that sometimes, taking the first step towards breaking down your deepest limiting beliefs can be tough. That's why I’m here to support you every step of the way with my 1:1 coaching services.

Today, I'm sharing all the juicy details from my recent girlfriends getaway with my 2 best friends to Valley of Fire and Zion National Park.
In this episode I talk about how:
During our trip, we had the opportunity to explore the beautiful landscapes of Valley of Fire and Zion National Park. One of the highlights of the trip for me was climbing Angels Landing. I'll be honest, I had a rare panic attack on the way up, but the power of sisterhood got me through it and I was able to summit. It was a great reminder of the importance of having a strong support system and how much we can accomplish when we work together.
For any of our listeners who are interested in taking a similar trip for themselves, I want to invite you to join us in Costa Rica for the first women's international retreat. We'll be exploring the beautiful landscapes, connecting with other like-minded women, and focusing on self-care and personal growth. Follow this link to sign up and get $200 off your spot!

I’ve struggled with my body image, weight and self-esteem for as long as I can remember. As a kid who grew up in the 90s, diet culture was at it’s full-time high. After many years of therapy, personal growth and becoming an expert in the field, I’ve thankfully realized the only way to get the health I desired, was to heal from the inside out.
This week, I bring the inspiring mind and body coach, Amber Shaw, who also believes in the power of mindset and learning to love ourselves. She brings her expertise and charisma to this community, and answers some great questions about how to stop the yoyo dieting and self-sabotage.
Although Amber specializes in helping women over 40, this episode contains something for everyone!

I don’t know about you, but my introduction to motherhood was fairly brutal. I wasn’t prepared for all of society’s expectations of what it meant to be a mother. The messages I was receiving was to become a stay at home mom, give up on my dreams and do it all with ease. However, that didn’t work for me. Neither did it for this week’s guest, Beth Levine.
Beth shares how she one day had a revelation in spin class, that the stay at home mom life wasn’t for her. Coming from the corporate world, she knew she didn’t want to go back there, so she did what was on her heart and started her coaching business. Not only did her business, SmartMouth, become wildly successful, but she also wrote a book and has been featured in the world’s most respected publications.

It can be so confusing to be a woman these days. We are asked to be strong and do so much, yet not too strong. We are asked to be nurturing and soft, yet not too soft. What the f*ck do they want from us?
This is where I was 3.5 years ago. Stuck at a crossroads between who everyone expected me to be and who I was dying to become. I had to make a choice, because the stuck feeling was killing me. And so, I took that first step on the journey to empowerment. I haven’t looked back sense.
In today’s episode I tell you how I define empowerment, both as an empowered woman and empowerment coach. I’ll give you a hint, it’s probably not what you’re expecting me to define it as.

I recently heard a phrase, “cool girls don’t drink anymore.” This week’s guest, author and coach, Kay Allison, would absolutely agree!
Over the past year, I’ve been exploring my own relationship with alcohol, so I thought it would be excellent to talk to an expert, like Kay, to get some answers. And, as expected, she delivered!
The sober curious movement, has taken the social media world by storm. If you’re new to the term, sober curious, it’s usually defined as having the option to choose or change your drinking habits for health reasons (mental and physical). The movement encourages people to recognize the unhealthy habits associated with drinking.
Through Kay’s own personal sobriety journey, over 20 years sober and working with thousands of women, Kay is able to speak with passion and confidence about how we can take the first step towards living our very own JUICY AF Life!

If you’re anything like me, you take a lot of pride in being a strong woman and having the ablity to “do it all” with style.
But, that could also be the very thing that’s holding you back from getting the SUPPORT or GUIDANCE you REALLY NEED to grow and expand into your best self.
This week I’m going to you live from my home state of Texas, visiting my sister and my new baby nephew. Being home for the holidays, always provokes memories from my childhood as well as be in awe at how fast the time has gone.

It’s that time of year again…Halloween is over and the holidays are in full swing. Which for many means additional stress, commitments, judgment and chaos. If that sounds like you, you’re far from alone.
Three years ago I was introduced to an end of year challenge, which I had never heard of before. Up until that point it was only New Year’s resolutions. However the idea of that challenge was to show up for yourself and start the next year as your best self, instead of run down and exhausted.
I was inspired to start my own version of that this year for The BEAM Life community, called Stop the Holiday Spiral. It’s FREE to join: https://www.thebeamlife.com/stoptheholidayspiral

This past week, I had the privilege of attending the Empowerher LIVE event, in Phoenix, AZ. Attending personal development events like that are a great reminder that who and what you surround yourself with, matters.
I was deeply inspired by all of the speakers, and a I share a few of the takeaways in today’s episode. One in particular was about vision. And, WOW, do I wish I knew this when I was starting from nothing after a divorce just three years ago.
I hope you enjoy this mini episode!

Losing a loved one, like a parent, is hard for anyone. However, losing them to murder, is just about as horrific and heartbreaking as it comes. That’s what happened to this week’s guest, Kory Shrum, on July 4,2020. Kory didn’t have the best childhood, and she carriend many of of those old scars into her adulthood. That early trauma added an additional layer of difficulty to this tragic situation.
Through the investigation, Kory began to seek answers about her mom’s past life. What she found, not only allowed her to personally heal, but now also help thousands of others through her podcasts and writings.

Have you ever shared your big vision with someone, only to be met with doubt and a million reasons why that would never work?
Welcome to the club.
According to author and life coach, Martha Beck, she calls that contrarian thinking. Which is the ability to see and believe your future and density before it happens, even if it appears bold or unlikely.
It’s also fascinating to arrive at our big milestones, only to look back and realize that all those “bad things” or hiccups along the way, had to happen in order for you to arrive where you are now. It’s a more intricate way of thinking, everything happens for a reason.

I was recently asked why I use disco balls as a part of my branding, and I realized that was something I hadn’t ever shared with this community. Disco balls are not only a symbol of celebration and liberation, but also represent something much deeper than that to me. It’s symbolic of brokenness coming together to make something spectacular, much like our human lives. Perfectly, imperfect.
In this episode I share some intimate stories about the brokessness and struggles I felt in my previous marriage as well as my entry into motherhood. I had lost my way and was looking to society to tell me my next move, instead of listening to my intuition.
Now that I’m on the other side of broken, I can reflect and share about how a strong woman, like me, forgot who she was.

My favorite way to do that is through breath work. I start every session with this very same breath work sequence. I’ve had many of my clients request it as a podcast episode, so they can press play and use it to get present.
So now, I get to share this with not only my clients, but with YOU!
Find a place where you can close your eyes and JUST BREATHE for a few minutes. Please DM me on IG, @thebeamlife, and let me know how you use this episode and if it was helpful.
If you’re interested in knowing what coaching with me could look like, I encourage you to click here and book a FREE 20min discovery call. I would love to chat with you and see if I could be a good next step for you.

Podcast: Let's Talk Meditation
In this [SOLO EPISODE] I talk about the importance of feeling like you’re WINNING at life. Prior to working with me, many of my clients have spent a majority of their adult life pouring from an empty cup. And even though they’re tired, burned out, and stressed to the max they don’t even know that there’s a different way to live. They’re just doing the best they can, powering through and just checking the boxes.
If this is sounding all too familiar, I want you to LISTEN UP! What if I told you there was more to life than just being okay, with just being okay? Better yet, what if I told you, that not only can you serve others but ALSO WIN AT LIFE?
You don’t have to be broken to want something new babe, in this episode I talk about HOW it’s possible to have a breakthrough before the break.
I'd love to help support you WINNING by sending you inspiring texts throughout the week! All you need to do is CLICK HERE and TEXT ME the word “podcast” to let me know you want in.

Two years ago I left all that was familiar to me behind. While it was comfortable and familiar, it WASN'T what I wanted. It was at that time that I started The BEAM Life podcast. I started it as my journal, but what I discovered was that I loved the woman I was on the mic. I loved the freedom, vulnerability and most importantly authenticity I felt. Little did I know it would consume me and be my calling and purpose. I love this sisterhood and the ability to speak my truth so much. I'm forever grateful for joining me on this journey. We're just getting started!
I also tie in our #last61challenge theme of Gratitude and our Word of the week JOY. It was serendipitous that those two things fell on such a special week.

On this special episode I get the complete honor of speaking with BEAM Babe, Sloane, former business attorney turned master business and lifestyle consultant. I’m thrilled to have her share her wisdom, strength, and story as well as get her guidance on what it takes to make a true lasting transformation. Who doesn’t want that?
Sloane successfully scaled her boutique law firm in Santa Monica to over 400 clients while working 1,000 hours per year and traveling the world.
Sloane attributes her firm's success to delivering a superb client experience and being her client's partner in business, not just a voice in legal expertise. Having been behind the scenes of hundreds of businesses - she had a unique vantage point to catch blind spots in profitability, operations, and her client's mindset around it all.
After coaching hundreds of her clients to help them through their toughest business challenges - Sloane sold her firm to pursue her heart's calling.
She is now a business and lifestyle consultant to ambitious women who are ready to expand beyond conventional possibilities and live and play full out while creating even more success in business.

I'm so excited to introduce the first BEAM Blast episode. In today's world we aren't doing too much commuting, so I wanted to bring you something short, sweet, and to the point. BEAM Blast episodes will be 10 minutes or less and sure to pack the punch and bring you the light and confidence you need to conquer your day.
Today's episode focuses on "hitting the reset button." Lately I've been feeling frustrated with the uncertainty of the future and the lack of routine. I feel as though I'm constantly starting over. However, is it really starting over if I'm learning something every time and one step ahead the next time I give it a go? Plus I live off the motto that if you love something enough it's worth trying again and again as failing isn't even a thought.
ENJOY AND KEEP BEAMING BABES! The world needs your light.
In this episode you will hear from Beam Babe, Kendall Rosenberg, about her recovery journey and how she learned to have self love after years of poor body image and feeling "not enough" or "too much." I met Kendall a few months ago, right before this pandemic hit, and was impressed by her strength and friendly spirit. After hearing her story, I was inspired and asked her to be on the show. I know we can all relate to feeling in a dark place and unsure how to get out, people like Kendall pave the way and show that there is HOPE on the other side.
My conversation with Alexandra Prosk is the first episode in Season 2 of The Beam Life Podcast. Alexandra is not only a rad Beam Babe with a passionate heart to change lives, but also happens to be my sister. In this podcast, she shares with us how she used her own struggles with mental health to help and connect with others. It also happens to be Mental Health Awareness Month! Alexandra graduated at the top of her class from The University Of Texas with her Master of Science as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and today she gives her knowledge to us as well as shares practical tips and advice on first steps to take if you're wanting to start your journey of connecting with a mental health professional.
In this week's episode we talk about fighting the stories and beliefs that keep us small and how to return home to yourself. In order to move forward and create the life of your dreams, you have to be willing to recognize these stories and overcome them. The world needs you Beam Babe!
In this episode I talk about how the truth was revealed to me through a universal intervention. I was faced with a decision to keep living a life for everyone else or risk losing everything and follow this new path. It was time for me to finally answer the call my soul had been begging for. There is so much POWER in owning your story and just being yourself, always choose YOU. Just remember in the words of Beam Babe, Glennon Doyle, "The braver we are, the luckier we get." BE BRAVE!
In this episode I share my story and the struggles I've faced along the way. I discuss having mercy on myself and the desire for true freedom. It's ok to trust yourself and want more than what you have. Often times we're looking for permission on what we're allowed to want from life, and this is how I've started to break free from those bonds and transform from a caterpillar to a butterfly. Always a work in progress, but just have to keep beaming.
In this episode, I share 11 tips to help you work from home and not get stir crazy during this COVID-19 quarantine. It's important that we use this time to be creative, stay on routine, and do our part to help move us ALL forward.
In this episode I get the great honor and privilege to speak with my best friend and total Beam Babe, Abbie Slye. Abbie shares how she managed to take life's struggles and turn them in to triumphs. Not only has she conquered them with grace and inspired many others around her to do the same, but she's also an incredible mother, wife, and a boss babe in her career. You will feel unstoppable after listening to her courageous stories.
In this powerful episode I get real about what it takes to truly take a leap of faith into the unknown and believe that you CAN DO HARD THINGS. Often times we're living life on others terms and what's considered acceptable or the "social norm". This leads to feeling resentful and unhappy. I share some personal struggles of how I started to take charge of my life and live the way I WANT so that I can properly serve my family and this badass community. We are in this together Beam Babes!
Dreaming big is both liberating and terrifying. As children we were fearless and felt like we could be and do anything. Sadly as we approach adulthood, something shifts and we become far less likely to take risks and play hard. This episode is about tapping in to your inner child and dreaming bigger than you ever though possible. What do you have to lose?
In this episode we talk about leaving your legacy, and how your daily actions impact the world and people around you. How will you be remembered? Never forget to be brave with your life and OWN your story.
"She wasn't looking for a knight, she was looking for a sword" - atticus

Y'all I'm so excited to present my newest business endeavor, The Beam Life, which stands for Be Everything And More. As a female entrepreneur, mom, fitness expert, endurance fitness junkie, and fashion stylist, I get approached by other women on the reg about a variety of different topics. Over the last several years, I've been fortunate enough to help thousands of people live their best life.
I've been on a quest about how I can reach other women outside of my of my physical space, I just knew there had to be a way. I dreamed about creating a network or a "hive" as like to call it of fierce, strong, and like minded women to support each other in pursuing their dreams and goals. Many of the women that I've helped came to me broken, afraid, overwhelmed, lacked confidence, unfulfilled, or even worse feeling "OK" just being "OK". I knew it would be a disservice if I didn't see out this vision and help as many women as I can while my two feet are planted on this earth.
It's with extreme passion and excitement that I bring to you The BEAM Life Podcast Show, where I will share my knowledge of all things lifestyle and goal crushing.
