RIP to all fathers we lost due to police brutality 🙏🏾 ✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

Ever heard of racial profiling before?

It’s the use of race or ethnicity as grounds for suspecting someone of having committed an offence.

People expect all this to die down, they expect us to shut up and stop “pestering” their social media with BLACK LIVES MATTER. But i’m sorry, like i mentioned on our last episode, this is not a trend it is our reality and it hurts, it truly does.

Let’s fight a battle at a time, this is why we are fighting for black lives matter to be heard. We are still losing brothers and sisters everyday due to police brutality but mostly because racism is still part of the conversation.

And No its not over, just cuz you don’t hear about more black men being killed in the media as much as you did when George floyd was killed, doesn’t mean it’s over, it doesn’t mean its done with, cuz it isn’t. We can’t change the talk when zero changes are being made.

I CAN’T BREATHE

If you are not familiar with this phrase, you might probably want to google it. Police brutality alongside with racism and black lives matter have been part of most conversations lately. Not that police brutality and injustice within the black community is anything new but the MURDER of GEORGE FLOYD on May 25th 2020 by police officers in Minneapolis was proven to be the last straw to break the camel’s back. WE as a black community (and any other community that respects our struggle and fight) have had enough. Every one wants to be black or be around black people or be part of black culture until it’s actually time to be black. -WE CAN’T BREATHE (George Floyd) -WE CANT JOG (Ahmaud Aubrey) -WE CAN’T SIT IN THE COMFORT OF OUR HOMES (Breonna Taylor) -OUR KIDS CAN’T PLAY WITH FAKE GUNS (Tamir Rice)... and many more ! We have had enough, it’s time for a change. We shall no longer comply, shut up and watch our people die.
