"""ALS, Amytrophic Lateral Sclerosis is a disease wherein a patient loses the power of movement and can survive for only a few months from the time it strikes the body. ALS Association triggered an ALS Bucket Challenge, a charity campaign to spread awareness about the disease. To get more traction, mostly celebs are challenged to dump a bucket or more on themselves full of ice. It is a chain campaign while one challenges the other. And whenever it is associated with a cause, our Bollywood celebs never stay behind. They joined in on some icy fun in hordes and here is a list of those who took it up. Now that’s what we call a smart guy! Akshay Kumar took the challenge and completed it in Capetown where the temperature was freezing. He was shooting his dance reality show and wanted only one contestant to pour the ice cold water on him. But all 11 joined in. And guess what he did? He used sea water instead of fresh water so that nobody wastes it. Charity with brains, we say!"""

These fashionistas of Bollywood don’t always dress drop-dead gorgeous. They are human and being human is to err and we can tell you that these babes err like crazy at times. We give you a breakdown of five Bollywood fashion icons who had a miserable bad hair day in public that they might want to erase from our memories!
The whole world knows Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur are more than just friends. Though they have not admitted being in a relationship, more often or not both the actors have been spotted at the same place and at the same time. Now that certainly can’t be coincidence, hai na? In fact, just a few days ago, Shakti Kapoor’s beti was seen leaving Aditya’s house. We hear the young starlet reached her beau’s house at 9 pm and made an exit way after 12 in the night. Well, the shutterbugs even managed to click few pictures of the Haider actress who tried hard covering her face. And before, we hear, the couple went for a holiday in US as well.
"Great looks clearly run in the family. When your mother Mehr Jessia Rampal is the country's most celebrated supermodel and your father Arjun Rampal is worshipped as one of the Greek Gods in Bollywood, you inherit the best gene pool ever. Arjun Rampal recently posted an image of his little bundles of joy - Myra and Mahikaa and commented, ""And how fast they grow!!!! And guess who likes makeup. isn't that kind of early lol!!! #nervousdad"""
"The usually prim and proper, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, was recently spotted at an event sporting an outfit that we believe was a jumpsuit. We are a little confused! Shilpa, please help us out here… did your tailor run short of the fabric or did your laundry guy shrink’em? The laundry guy needs to be blamed for more than just shrinking, he seems to have forgotten to iron it as well. It wasn’t the creases alone that were low key in the ensemble, the totally out-of-place cut at the lower back seemed like a desperate attempt at adding the hep factor which moved the look further towards, for want of a better word, tacky."
"In Hollywood, film contracts list stipulations/clauses regarding lifestyle, infidelity, drugs, alcohol, and weight restrictions. A health clause is mandatory in most. But Sunny Leone’s Bollywood contracts have become a thing of lore. Says a source, “Sunny has, in the past, asked her co-stars submit to an HIV/AIDS test before she signs a film, especially where there’s a kissing or lovemaking scene involved (like she reportedly did in Jism 2). She obviously can’t do the same with other established actors, but now that she is working with newcomers, lesser known and unknown actors, it makes sense to be safe. If Sunny is insisting on such a clause, it’s great. While many producers are today putting in no-pregnancy clauses in their films, the fact is, it’s even more practical to put in an HIV/AIDS clause, too.”"
"Ranbir Kapoor has been the charming golden boy of the present era, but hardly have his peers been praised by him. But that seems to have changed. Ranbir has decided to come out of the shell and appreciate the work of other new generation actors. If we recall all the young generation actors consider Ranbir as a superstar because of his sheer ability to take risks with films. While on one hand Arjun Kapoor feels that Ranbir is the “star of our generation”, Sidharth Malhotra finds him to be “the best” among the current lot, and “a great actor” who is “superb” in all his films. Now isn’t it great that Ranbir has decided to reciprocate the same with epithets for the other actors as well? The Kapoor scion feels “really grateful” for the praises. Recently he was heard speaking about a great forthcoming decade, as far as the quality of acting and cinema goes. “I think there’s a lot of healthy competition [in Bollywood right now]. We are all doing great work, so we can push each other [to do better]. I think it’s going to be an exciting 10 years ahead. Be it Varun (Dhawan), Sidharth, Aditya (Roy Kapur), Sushant (Singh Rajput) or Tiger (Shroff), they are all so well prepared and they are so talented."
"Actress Bipasha Basu says the remuneration disparity between actors and actresses will not change in filmdom, adding that she doesn’t loose sleep over this anymore. “Remuneration disparity is not going to change much,” Bipasha, who is active in the Hindi film industry since 2001, told in an interview. “It’s definitely going to remain the same because the kind of box office Salman Khan does may be a Katrina Kaif won’t achieve that alone. It’s just normal infrastructure and business, so I am not really crying about it,” she added."
"Actor Bipasha Basu says that donning a bikini for a role is okay if you are fit and confident that you would look good in it. “Wearing a bikini is not a big deal for me. If you are fit, you are going to look good. If it’s a glamorous film, it will add to your glamour,” said Bipasha in an interview. The actress was seen in the two-piece in Dhoom 2 and Players. “It is not a big deal for me anymore because the first time when I wore it, I was petrified. During Dhoom 2 I was getting into fitness. After that I am very critical about the (bikini) body because I am so much into fitness that I feel you have to look correct and you can’t look cheesy."
"Sonam Kapoor has been juggling quite a bit of work lately, From promoting her film Khoobsurat, to shooting for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in Karjat opposite Salman Khan in Karjat to honouring her endorsement commitments back in the city, this fashionista hasn’t had a spare second to sit down and relax. Yesterday the pretty lady made an appearance at the Umang festival and straight from there she went to Filmcity to shoot for a song. the song also features Khoobsurat‘s lead actor Fawad Khan and Kirron Kher. Brother Arjun Kapoor who was also shooting close by for his upcoming film Tevar opposite Sonakshi Sinha surprised his sis with a visit. Sonam’s uncle Sanjay Kapoor also dropped by for a bit to see what his nieces Rhea Kapoor and Sonam were doing."
"After the trailer release of her upcoming film, Deepika Padukone tried clearing the air about her personal life in an interview given to a leading daily When asked about Ranveer Singh, whom she’s reportedly dating, she came out clear in the open saying her past experiences have made her more reserved and silent about her personal life. Deepika feels being celebrities comes with a lot of perks as well as disadvantages and a public announcement somehow calls for a lot more scrutiny into their personal spaces which she’s definitely not looking for. Seems the painful heartbreak from ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor has still lingered on to the Chennai Express actor."
The Lunchbox actor Nimrat Kaur, who is all set to debut on American series Homeland as ISI agent Tasneem Kureshi, says she plays Claire Danes’ nemesis on the show but is not sure whether she will share screen space with the Golden Globe-winning actress. Danes has won three Emmy and four Golden Globe trophies for playing the lead role of CIA agent Carrie Mathison on the popular show.
"Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, who has been dubbed as the current singing sensation of Bollywood, says he is glad to have been accepted by the industry but his struggles have not ended yet as he tries to outdo himself every time. “I am overwhelmed for whatever I have achieved so far. I give the credit to my mother and everyone who has helped me. I do four-five songs a year and I am glad they are liked. I don’t think struggle ever gets over.. It will always be there,” Honey said in an interview "
"The Dabangg Khan is ready to show off his body yet again in Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming film Salman Khan’s legion of fans went crazy after watching Kick. However, some of the true blue fans of the Dabangg Khan were disappointed because not a single scene in the Sajid Nadiadwala directorial had him bare chested as is customary for the actor. However, it looks like Salman has decided not to disappoint his fans again for he will be seen in his shirtless avatar in Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming film, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo."
"Shah Rukh Khan feels that father-son relationship should be that of friends. The actor, who has always been vocal about his parents, has lent support for an upcoming film titled Ekkees Toppon Ki Salami by launching the trailer of the film along with the entire star cast here. Apparently, the film, based on father-son relationship, made Shah Rukh emotional and he decided to support it."
"Married actor not getting good roles is a thing of past in Bollywood, according toKareena Kapoor Khan, who says her career did not suffer any setback after she tied the knot Saif Ali Khan and she still gets to work with top stars like Aamir, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn. In her 14-year-long career, Kareena has worked in both commercial films like Bodyguard, Kabhi Khushi abhi Gham, Jab We Met, as well as off-beat movies including Dev, Chameli, Omkaraamong others. When asked which of films excite her more, Kareena said, “I am a commercial actress. It is a part of me. I am both a star and an actress. I can’t be just doing off-beat films."
"Deepika Padukone may not trade punches with Priyanka Chopra, but the two will definitely have a dance-off in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next. with Bajirao Mastani, where Kashibai and Mastani, Peshwa Bajirao’s two lovers, will share screen space. SLB will give them a lot of confrontation sequences and a dramatic dance-off (like he did with Dola Re Dola in Devdas). Says a source close to the project, “Though the film is named after Mastani (Deepika) the other woman in Bajirao’s life, Kashibai has an equally important role in SLB’s script.” Interestingly, PC plays the less aggressive Kashibai. And while DP plays the title role, PC’s role has been rewritten to suit her stature as an actor"
"Ajay Devgn has remained the same – a man of few words, reserved, succinct, to the point and brutally honest. He is one of the few stars to have remained unchanged by success. When asked why he isn't part of any Khan camp, he says I don’t believe in camps. In fact, I am open to working with everybody. I work with people I am comfortable with. I don’t interfere in anybody else’s business and so, am not in any camp. I have managed to survive successfully despite this… and on my terms and conditions!"""
"Not so long time ago, photos and a song from Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s Tamasha were leaked online. Now, a little birdie tells us about the roles that the ex-flames play in the movie. Reportedly, Ranbir is all set to play a nomad, who entertains people while travelling and Deepika will be playing a die-hard fan of the French comic series, Asterix and Obleix (set in Corsica). A source told a daily, “RK plays a free spirit who wants everybody around him to be happy. He doesn’t have a permanent home but wanders from place to place, going out of his way to please people.” That’s not all! Here’s a lil about Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha’s plot. Ranbir’s character bumps into Deepika in Corsica, where she is following the trail of a character from the Asterix and Obleix series. Coincidentally, the Kapoor lad too is fond of the series and so, together they start exploring the island. While travelling, they stage dramatic plays, and eventually fall in love."
"Straight off the runway, Priyanka Chopra wore a Tarun Tahiliani outfit from the designer’s 2014 Autumn Winter collection. We liked the printed pencil skirt but a more figure-hugging blouse instead of the black one PC wore would have taken the appeal of this look a notch higher. We are crazy about the beige-gold Louboutin FiFi metal gloss pumps she is wearing but we aren’t sure whether those were the right shoes for the outfit. The Valliyan by Nitya Arora earrings look great and the messy faux bun hairdo completes the look well. Earlier, at the launch of Mary Kom‘s trailer Priyanka wore a white Alexander McQueen pencil skirt and an embossed scalloped detail crop-top. She finished out the look with a red lip and red-soled Loubs."
"Recently, when Karan Johar was asked about Kajol in an interview, he simply said, ‘No comment’. That set off the speculation that there was something wrong between the two. The duo have been friends even before she starred in his debut film. So what went wrong? An insider reveals that there was an heated exchange between Kajol’s husband Ajay Devgn and KJo, and when asked to broker peace, the actress chose to side with her husband rather than her oldest friend in Bollywood."
"Shraddha Kapoor delivered back to back hits with Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain. Both films were commercial successes and her characters were loved by audiences. Co-incidentally, both of Shraddha’s character names begin with the alphabet A. In Aashiqui 2 her character’s name was Aarohi while her character’s name in Ek Villain was Aisha. Both the characters went on to become memorable, post their releases. People had started identifying Shraddha as Aarohi for the longest time. And post Ek Villain, her character Aisha engraved a special place in the heart of audiences. The alphabet ’A’ seems to be suiting the ace actor."
