Episode 200 of the KSHE Tapes features Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Noah Hunt. Recorded in November of 2000, the guys were playing the Pageant for the first time that night and they go into detail about the writing of the song, "Blue on Black."
Episode 199 of the KSHE Tapes features former drummer of the Black Crowes, Steve Gorman. In a 1999 interview that was recorded in the basement of the American Theatre, Steve talks about St. Louis, record labels and what it's like being in the Black Crowes.
Episode 198 on the KSHE Tapes features drummer, Aynsley Dunbar. You might be saying, "Who is that?" Well, he drummed for Journey when Steve Perry joined the band, Jefferson Starship and David Bowie among others. In fact, at the time of this interview his lawyers told him not to talk about Journey and he explains why.
This week the KSHE Tapes features a 2006 interview with Def Leppard guitarist, Vivian Campbell. Did you know he played with Dio and Whitesnake?! He talks about Ronnie Jame Dio and David Coverdale and a lot more. Listen!!!

The late great, Evil Knievel is on episode 182 of the KSHE Tapes. In an interview done at Doc's Harley Davidson, Favazz asks Evil about how many bones he's broken and also if he has any memories of St. Louis. You'll love his answer to that one.
Comedy legends John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd are on the KSHE Tapes this week. They were promoting the Blues Brothers music and happened to mention that a movie would be made about the brothers. Check out U-Man's interview with them on episode 181.
The KSHE Tapes this week features former Cardinal, Mark McGwire. Recorded in the year 2000, Mark discusses the Cardinals chances that year and the crazy fans that follow baseball.

This week we truly have a KSHE exclusive as former KSHE jock, Gary Kolander interviews the late Neil Peart of Rush. Neil would become famous for not giving interviews but he gave this in depth interview to KSHE in 1981.
The third installment of Joe Perry from Aerosmith is a 2006 interview in which he talks about the Grammy's and what guilty pleasure he now enjoys on the road.
The KSHE Tapes this week features bass player, Mike Kroeger from Nickelback. From 2006, Nickelback was getting ready to do their first arena rock tour and Mike recalls that and his days playing at Pop's.

Episode 171 features Trevor Rabin, formerly of Yes. On the heels of Yes's most successful release, 90125 Trevor talks about the making of that album and why the tour was delayed.
Episode 170 features Donnie Van Zant, formerly of .38 Special. In this 1982 interview, he talks about his brother, Ronnie and playing at Busch Stadium.
This week we feature another interview with Sammy Hagar where he talks about the ill-fated Cabo Wabo in STL and the Van Halen reunion tour which was taking place. You want to hear what he says about the brothers in this interview back in 2004.
And finally in part three, Grace Slick and Jefferson Airplane are inducted into the KSHE Real Rock Hall of Fame.
What a cool ole lady Grace Slick is as she is the focus of episode 166 of the KSHE Tapes. There isn't a subject matter she doesn't tackle including the very first song played on KSHE by the Airplane, White Rabbit.
Kirk Hammett of Metallica, in a 2017 interview from Busch Stadium recalls his first time in STL and the deaths of Gregg Allman and Chris Cornell.
Episode 163 features former Cardinal third baseman, Ken Oberkfell. This 1982 interview was conducted by the U-Man in the locker room following the Cards World Series victory.

We go back to 1982 to hear the U-Man interview former Cardinal and Hall of Famer, Ozzie Smith. Ozzie said he hoped to be in STL for a long time (which he was of course) and makes a prediction for the World Series that year.

Funny and smart are some of the adjectives you could use about Chad Smith of the Chili Peppers. He's all that and more in episode 155 of the KSHE Tapes and he's a bandmate of Sammy Hagar.
This is the second interview of Ann Wilson that we have featured on the KSHE Tapes and among other things she talks about the rift between her and her sister, Nancy Wilson of Heart in this 2017 interview.
In episode 153, Gregg Rolie talks about what its like to be inducted into the Rock Hall and also his thoughts on Steve Perry joining the band back in the day.
