Me and the dog listen to my podcast alot and I know he would like to hear this track as it hasn't appeared on here yet, so I'm postponing the rest of the sofa re-cast to upload this. It's is dedicated to the late great memory of KR who died last year (unless I have been Greatly mis-in-formed in which case soz!) btw, thankyou to DJ Switch for the friend reques, reason I have'nt accepted yet is coz I is just a bit awestruck by your work and I'm so truly honoured don't really know how to take it. one love

This still sounds good, I thought I'd re-cast it as there's some great vocal effects which you might have missed altogether when it was 'cast in lo-fi, shame, the Sofa cd with the final mixes and the John Lennon samples is with the other band member really, who is probably in borstal by now so I wont see that again. Heigh ho. BTW, who heard that Malcolm McClaren died? Bit sad innit, I'm sure alot of his work will live on 'tho, especially seeing as he's still influencing alot of people that don't even realise they're being influenced by him.
for anyone who remembers the crossing or anyone who doesnt this one should have been a hit single

This is 1 definitely benefits from full quality sound. the intended effect is lo-fi and a bit ruff so if it sounds badly orchestrated that is just tuff, you are being naieve... (i thought armageddon 2000 might too, but i think the best copy i have is 32kbps mono so i'll probably not bother re-doing it)

This is a compilation of tracks which I've been restoring starting with matishall FC, the piano is better at the beginning but the rest is alot different to the one on here already. It then seque's into Sapu which also is on here already then seque's into a very up-beat version of SBS System called SBS System (binary)
This track is called mosquito because it's small and very annoying; the drum sample is from a Sting track called str8 2 ur heart from an album called nothing like the sun since you asked!.....

The smurfs meet robert gordon, or worlds beyond limit. a very simple track from panic's library, much respic is due to Wasp. Oh PB4 where is my craic? Interestingly this sounds very good despite being only 32k - pretty lossless -slogan comes from "what are the penguins looking at" btw

This is the perfect trak to listen to when your doing other things than being killed by a machine (WHAT!!!!!!!!!)
Restoring these LP tracks is really difficult, especially when you've got at least 51% headroom on the signal so the dynamic processors don't know what to deal with, RMS helps but it doesn't work just on it's own,you have to interpolate the worst bits first then use profiled filters to remove extraneous noise and be very carefull not to degrade the signal, EQ pass for prescence, max RMS then general de-noise and enhance leaving just enough ambience to hold it together. Phew!

This is The abarat, adapted from a "traditional" indian tune as used in peter brook's adaptation of the mahabaratha which could bore you to tears just a little bit. you are welcome to remix this - note the quotation marks, may not be a traditional tune but only one composed to sound like one, I pinched this off RWMC9 [which I pinched from my dance teacher at college, lol!]. I've been hearing quality things about progressive techno and soma label but I'd take that with a pinch of salt personally as the general ethic would seem to be, if you can do it then you should do it. New things which strike me as worth paying attention to are combinations between reich and warp, definitely going to hit the spot. Clive Barker's abarat is a great series, I especially like the bit in the bathroom with the sex change (what do you mean, that's not in the dvd?)

Something different which you mightlike to hear - panic somewhere on the production end (again) Oh! I've just remembered this 'cast is a bout current affairs so you want to know what news story it is about there was a funeral the other day for someone and their are new (old) [CRAP!]funny games going on at playshools, thats all the drift of it is at the moment.... this 'cast could also be the skye boat song volume three because ofthe subject

This is the sort of stuff I really want to be developing for myself. Really, if I had my Druthers (which means reins doesnt it?) This is a cover version of John Lennons (ahem!) song "Stand by Me" To be honest, I know maddonna sometimes uses a vocoder but at least she can sing in tune! I had to tweak the vocal on this for more than several days! Sometimes people just dont know when to admit that they've no talent at all! GRRRRRRR.
