In partnership with the UCL Animal Rights Society, the fourth day of our Food Summit features Melissa Cronin of The Save our Seas Foundation, who educates us on the importance of ocean conservation. The oceans have often been overlooked so this conversation brings to light some of the important issues provided by this important ecosystem and whether vegan seafood has potential.
Speaker: Melissa Cronin is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Conservation Action Lab at UC Santa Cruz studying Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with a Designated Emphasis in Coastal Science & Policy. Previously, she was a journalist covering science, the environment, wildlife crime and trafficking, and politics.
