In this first talk from our series LIFT we discuss the importance of rest. Pastor Bobby discusses how Jesus rested, especially after experiencing hard news. The rest was necessary, but as He got to the other side, He was able to give compassion and serve those who needed His help. This is the same for us. We need rest for ourselves, but our rest isn't only for us. Our rest helps us give compassion, love, and support to others. It allows us to be present and ready to step into the call God has for us.

It can be a chain strapped to us causing our steps to be hindered. Jesus provides the grace to set us free from the guilt of separation.
