Covetousness is the unbridled, insatiable desire for things

Most people in life live for things

Don't be so much in pursuit of things that you can sacrifice anything to get it.

The value of your life is not measured by the things you own.

Godliness without contentment will bring a lot of pressure and dissatisfaction.

If the little you have does not make you happy, even if God gives you the whole world you still will not be satisfied.

Covetous/Greedy people always have a hunger for what people have.

Your confidence should not be in things like good clothes. Latest shoe and phone. Because there will always be people who have the better version of these things.

Covetous people are not thankful because they are never satisfied. 2. Beware of Selfishness

Only foolish people live a selfish life, don't leave yourself alone

Life was designed by God to look ahead, you have to look beyond yourself to make progress.

1. Lay Treasures in Heaven

You are as rich as your relationship with God

Don't only lay up treasures for yourself but be rich towards God

Place your relationship with God above anything else, it should be the foundation and most important thing in your life

every time you are a blessing to someone you are laying treasures in heaven Matt 6:21

• Immaturity will make you pick on everything, not talking to your spouse for weeks is making a shipwreck of your marriage

• The worst thing that can happen to anyone is marrying a proud spouse, there can never be a conversation, they only give instructions.

• There is no sickness that God cannot heal, no situation that He cannot change. It is up to you to make up your mind about what you want to receive from Him.
• You must be determined to press into what God has for you irrespective of what people around you think or say. Don't let anyone hold you back from your miracle.
• Whether you receive a miracle or not depends on the state of your heart. You must believe that God is and that he rewards those that seek him diligently.
• Not forgiving others places a burden on you and prevents you from receiving God. Forgive those who hurt you and use their Betrayal as a stepping stone to your next level.
• Live a clean life. Do not compromise your faith or cut corners to hasten your promotion. God honours faithfulness.
• Be a giver. Giving positions you to receive from God. It set you up for promotion and releases supernatural favour upon your life.

• When the enemy sends adversity, it is on account of the word that you have received. If he cannot keep you from understanding what God has said, he will try to cause you to doubt it.
• The only assurance that we have that God will keep his promise is the covenant. For this reason, Satan tries to attack the foundation of the covenant. Don't allow him!
• Adversity is not meant to destroy you. Trials come to help you grow to maturity. The more exposed you are to challenges, the faster you'll develop. The enemy does not understand this so he continues to attack us.
• The reason that God does not prevent adversity is that it works together for our good. The enemy means it for evil but God ultimately turns it around for our benefit.

Ways that our faith is tried

1. When your circumstances contradict scripture - Being a child of God does not mean that all your troubles will disappear. The question is whether we will hold on to what we believe or yield to our experiences.
2. When your prayers seem unanswered - It matters what you believe when you don't receive what you've asked God for. It does not mean that He is not real or has forsaken you. You must believe that He is at work even when you don't have the answer yet.
3. When the word is prolonged - There is a tendency to lose confidence when the vision tarries. Don't give up. Wait for it. God will hasten it and it won't come a moment later than it needs to.
4. When the unrighteous prosper - It can sometimes feel like it is foolish to be faithful to God when the godless by comparison appears to be making better progress. Be encouraged. Faith triumphs in the end.
5. When God calls us to do what is beyond our ability - There are times when it feels like what God lays in your heart is impossible or too hard. Trust God for grace to do what he has asked of you.
6. When the righteous live at variance with their confession - You must understand that every man is saved by grace. Jesus, not man is our pattern. Pursue Him wholeheartedly no matter what anyone else does.
7. When God makes unreasonable demands - Can you trust God enough to give him all you have? Can you let go of that which represents your future, knowing that he has a plan and will supply all your needs?
8. God has a purpose for every trial. If He has allowed it, He will use it to make you better than you were before it came.
9. Trials refine and polish your faith. They reveal the genuineness of your trust in God and play a crucial part in fulfilling God's purposes in your life.
10. The trials that come your way, are an indication of the level of your strength. If God allows a challenge to confront you, it is because he knows that He has given you sufficient capacity to handle it.

• The trials of faith can be summarized in 3 words - purpose, perspective, and perseverance.
• God's purpose for the trials of faith in our lives is to make us better not destroy us.
• How you go and come through trials will be greatly determined by your perspective. The way you see things will dictate your response and results.
• No matter what you go through, don't give up. Every trial has an expiry date so persevere until God delivers your testimony.
• The enemy's intention in trying you is to prove that you only serve God because of the things that He has given to you. He would have you abandon your faith when the going is tough.
• The fact that you're walking in God's will does not mean that you will not be tested. Your uprightness might be the very reason why you are being tried.
• God's intention in allowing the enemy to test you is to prove him wrong. God loves you and knows that you can overcome whatever is thrown at you.
• The quality of your faith will be revealed on the day of adversity. What matters is not how you look on the outside but the state of your heart.
• It is not enough to know the word of God if you are not willing to practice it. Only paying lip service to God's word is a recipe for failure in the coming day of adversity.
• Whatever God has not taken away in answer to prayer, He gives the grace to bear. He will never allow us to be exposed to more than we have the capacity to endure.
• God may allow us to face certain situations to help us to stay dependent on Him. Adversity humbles us.
• Suffering for Christ is as much a blessing as trusting in Him. It is okay to suffer adversity as a result of what you believe. We should never conform to the world to escape the pain.
• Until you are will are willing to give up everything (even your life) for the sake of Christ, you do not believe in Him.
• No matter what you go through in life, God still loves you. Even when we fail as a result of the trials in our lives, He still has a restoration plan.

• The path to prosperity is not always obvious. God desires to reveal to you the secret places where the wealth of the earth is hidden.
• Wealth is hidden in people. Wherever people are found, there is an opportunity to prosper. Business is finding a way to get people to give you their money in exchange for value.
• Money is hidden in problems. You will prosper by providing solutions to issues that plague people. Your value lies in the problems that you can solve.
• Your prosperity is hidden in your natural endowments. Every talent that God has given to you is an asset. Do not neglect it. Discover, develop and deploy it.
• Money is hidden in your brain. It is not enough to work hard, you also need to work smart. You must challenge yourself to think productively.
• Wealth is hidden in opportunities. When God desires to prosper a man, He opens a door of opportunity. Our prosperity is tied to our ability to recognise and exploit it.
• Wealth is hidden in time. There are levels of success that answer only to time. Discover your path and stay on it long enough to reach your goal. Your prosperity also lies in how you spend your time today.
• The journey to prosperity begins with a discovery. Knowledge gives you access to wealth. The difference between the rich and the poor is what they know.
• There is no mystery to prosperity. Find something of value that you have, put a price on it and live on the rest. The world is a marketplace. Everybody must learn to sell!

• It is God's will for you to prosper. Salvation is holistic and encompasses every facet of your life. Every parent delights in the success of their child.
• The first thing that God created (even before He made man) was an environment of pleasure and abundance. He wants us to thrive not just survive.
• Prosperity is a good thing. It gives you true freedom and puts options at your disposal. Poverty is not the will of God.
• The root of poverty is spiritual. When the enemy wants to limit your potential, he cripples your finances. Prosperity is also spiritual.
• Poverty is not a sign of holiness. Righteousness and prosperity are not mutually exclusive. You can prosper and still serve God your faith should be an advantage.
• Prosperity is also not an index of righteousness. It is possible to prosper outside the will of God. Money does not make or change you. It merely amplifies who you are.
• God is our source of wealth. 'El-Shaddai is the name that speaks to His inexhaustibility. 'Jireh' is the God who supplies before there is a need
• The basis of the prosperity that we receive from God is the covenant. He is committed to blessing us and has sealed His promise with the blood of His son and an oath.
• We lay hold of prosperity the same way we access salvation. We believe that Jesus died so that we might receive his riches in exchange for our poverty and walk in that consciousness.
• When it comes to prosperity, what you believe is more important than what you do. It doesn't matter how hard you work or how much you earn if you do not first believe the truth

• Not only did Jesus die for us. We died with Him at Calvary and resurrected with Him on the third day. The deeper our understanding of this experience the more of a reality it becomes in our lives.
• God's word will never fail. Jesus died and rose on the third day just as He said that He would. All the plans of hell and schemes of man could not stop His promise from coming to pass.
• The stone was rolled away not for Jesus' benefit. The same power that raised Him could have brought him out regardless. It was rolled away for our benefit, so we could see that the grave was empty.
• Jesus did not die for Himself. He had no sin and did not deserve death. He died on account of our sins and failings. He was the perfect sacrifice for the redemption of humanity.
• Christ died to bring many sons to glory. God sacrificed His only begotten son so that he might gain many more. The power of resurrection causes multiplication if we are willing to let go of what we have.
• When Jesus rose, He did so with an incorruptible, immortal, spiritual body different from the natural one that died. We are heirs of His divine nature and will also be resurrected to new bodies like His on the last day.
• The power of resurrection is available to us today. Even though our bodies do not change until later, the spirit that makes that possible is also able to bring life to our natural body and present circumstances.

• There are 2 paradigms of prosperity. The world prospers through greed and materialism. In our kingdom, however, we prosper by giving. Generosity unlocks your prosperity.
• Your liberality is not determined by what you have. It is a function of the state of your heart. No matter how little you have, you can always be generous.
• Generosity is giving beyond what is required. It is not driven by obligation but affection. The spirit of liberality will always look for opportunities to give.
• Giving that moves God has to be done by faith. This means giving beyond your ability or current level. It also means giving in expectation of a harvest. What you believe is more important than what you give.
• Generous giving is intentional. You should be able to plan your giving like any other expense. When giving is planned, it is less likely to be forced or coerced.
• Difference between giving and sowing
• You may give for any number of reasons but you sow for only one - to reap a harvest.
• Giving benefits the receiver but sowing benefits the sower.
• You give whatever you have but you only sow the best that you have.
• You can give to anyone and anywhere but with sowing, where you sow is critical to your harvest.
• You can give at any time but you only sow in season. Don't miss the season.
• Giving is at your convenience. Sowing may not. God loves a cheerful giver but accepts a tearful sower.
• Giving attracts a similar measure of receiving but sowing leads to a multiple-fold harvest.

• In the new covenant, we do not tithe to escape a curse (Jesus bore it on the cross) but as an expression of our faith in and love for God.

Why you should tithe

1. It is scriptural
2. It recognizes God as your source
3. It releases your faith
4. It attracts a blessing

• You cannot fight for what you don’t value. If you are going to contend for the faith, it has to be of value to you. You must place value on your salvation, you must place value on your belief in Jesus.
• We must contend for the faith because of our belief system, and our understanding of Christ Jesus. The faith delivered to the saints is under attack.
• The faith we have does not change with the times. It has been passed on to the saints and it remains the same for all times. Resist the temptation to modernize it.
• If you must be born again, you must repent of your sins, confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior and receive atonement by His blood ... that will not change.
• God saves the lost through preaching. So you must go out to preach because that is the Great Commission and it will not change.
• We live in a digital world now but no matter how good technology is, it cannot replace the gathering of brethren together in fellowship. That gathering is the church and must not change.
• No modernization or technology should take us to a point where a wife will no longer submit to their husband. No matter how accomplished a woman gets, that should not change her role in the home as a wife. That's the faith we received.
• We must keep the sanctity of the faith. It must not be corrupted by worldliness and immorality.

WHAT KIND OF FAITH WAS HANDED OVER TO THE SAINTS?

1. New Testament Faith: Faith in a God that we do not see. Moulding an image to represent Jesus and worshipping it is idolatry.
2. Sacrificial Faith: Faith that forsakes everything for the sake of the gospel. If your faith costs you nothing and the focus is only on what you get, that is counterfeit faith.
3. Strong Faith (Righteous faith): Faith that is not moved by circumstances. It is faith that is based on God's word and triumphs over science.

• We are all saved by grace through faith. The only basis for our salvation is Christ's finished work at Calvary.
• You cannot fight for what you do not value. If you will defend your faith, you must understand its worth.
• The Grace of God is not a license to live an immoral life. Some teach today that because we are not saved by work, it does not matter how we live. This is a lie from the pit of hell.
• Jesus did not come to abolish the law but to fulfil it. The Spirit empowers us the obey the law not under compulsion but by volition. This is what differentiates adults from children.
• The greatest threat to the church is not outside the church. The biggest danger that we face is people who claim to be Christian but pervert the gospel of grace.
• What you believe about the grace of God is critical to how you live. If you centre on the grace of God, to the detriment of personal responsibility, you are a heretic.
• Grace is not only God's ability to forgive sin but His ability given to you to overcome it. When you truly live under grace, sin ceases to have dominion over you.

There is a connection between worship and service. They are both acts of surrender. You cannot claim to worship God and not also serve Him.

Serving God is a privilege. He does not need our service so we should feel honoured to have the opportunity to do so.

Serving God is a responsibility. Responsibility is a sign of growth and proof of your maturity as a child of God.

Serving God is an investment. You cannot serve God and not be rewarded for it. There is a special blessing attached to service.

You are saved to serve. It is not enough to blessed by Him. You must be willing to make a contribution in furtherance of His mandate.

How to serve God

Service starts with your body. You cannot serve God until you completely yield your body to God as a sacrifice. Consecration is the foundation of acceptable service.

You must serve God with your time. Your life is measured in time and so you cannot really give God your life until He has your time. Your deployment depends on your availability.

Serve God with your talent, skills and spiritual gifts. The King needs the service of skillful ministers. There is something that you have that will make a difference in the kingdom. What you do not use, you lose.

Serve God with your money. His expectation is that those who are bless by ministry finance it. Giving is also a valid expression of ministry.

It is God's will that you enjoy divine health. Good health is a blessing - one we often take for granted until we lose it.

It is not enough to get healing from sickness, Jesus also provided for divine health. You can live without having to fall ill supernaturally.

If you are born of the Spirit, you are a spirit and spirits do not get sick.

How to enjoy divine health

1. Live by faith in God's word.

As God's children, we are not sustained by medicine or science. We are preserved by what God says.

God will not heal you. He already has. By His stripes, you were healed.

Your wellbeing being is not determined by genetics or environment. It is determined by what you believe.

The word of God in your spirit will counteract the effect of any disease in your body.

1. Confess the word of God

Faith that does not come out of your mouth is inactive. The things that you say are proof of what you believe.

Every symptom or diagnosis that contradicts God's word is an arrow from the enemy. How you respond will determine whether you stay healthy or not. Resist the enemy by speaking God's word.

1. Have regard for your body

You can't trust God for good health while actively working against the wellbeing of your body. Rest, eat healthy, get exercise and stay safe.

1. Serve the Lord

When you serve God, He becomes a stakeholder in your wellbeing. He keeps you healthy for the sake of His work.

1. Eat the bread of life

Every time that we come to the communion table, we reactivate the covenant and all that it provides - including healing and divine health.

• In every good marriage, there is mutual submission. Husband and wife must submit one to another. No party should seek to get their own way every time.

• A woman's submission to God is evident in the extent of her submission to her husband's authority. You cannot claim to be spiritual and disregard your husband.

• Even if your husband is an unbeliever, you will not win him over through argument and rebellion. Let your lifestyle of humility and submission be your message.

• As a woman, your focus should be more on inward adornment than external polish. True beauty comes from within.

• Even though husband and wife are partners in marriage, they are not equals. No boat can have more than one captain. Women should recognize their husbands as their leaders.

• Men should love their wives unconditionally. Your love for her should not be predicated on her qualities, characteristics or conduct.

• Every man has the capacity to love his wife like Christ loves the church. Sacrifice not infatuation keeps marriage. A man must be willing to die for his wife.

• Speak the right words over your wife. Build her up through the things that you say. Understand her love language and use it lavishly.

• Your marriage is a critical part of your life. Whether you succeed or fail in life could greatly depend on the state of your marriage. God's will is that marriage should make you better.
• No one gets married and stays the same. Marriage will either make or break you. We therefore cannot afford to be frivolous in our choice of a spouse.
• Any marriage can work. No matter how bad things have become, God can turn it around. God's will is that marriage be enjoyed not endured.
• A good marriage is not an accident. You cannot wish it into existence. If you will have a good marriage, you must be intentional about it.
• A great as prayer is, the grace of God alone cannot give you a good marriage. There are vital skills to be learned to make marriage work.
• A good heart is of no value without a good head. Good intentions are not enough. Knowledge is critical to having a good marriage.
• Take responsibility for your marriage. If marriage will work each party must stop blaming the the other or others. Own up to your contributions to your current struggles in marriage.
• Divorce is not the will of God. God hates divorce so we should not make room for or justify it. Resolve firmly in your mind that no matter how bad things get, divorce is not an option.
• You background should not impact your marriage. Even if you are a product of a broken home, let your experiences strengthen your resolve to do better and break the cycle.
• That people make room for divorce does not make it right. Marriage is not a contract. It is a covenant and should not be broken no matter what.
• For marriage to work, the commitment must be mutual. A good marriage requires two willing parties. A divorce requires just one.

• The trial your faith produces patience. You do not know what you are capable of enduring and overcoming until your are forced to.

• Adversity does not change you but reveals who you are already. Who you are on the inside comes to the fore under pressure.

• The Ministry gifts are given to bring us to the fullness of likeness of Christ. He is our standard and we must continue to grow until we become like him.

• Children are not planted in the word so they are moved by every new revelation. They are susceptible to deception and trickery. This is why we must be committed to growth.

• You must come to a point in your spiritual growth where you are so convinced of what you believe that nothing and no one is capable of misleading you.

• Part of Spiritual maturity is interpreting the old testament in the light and context of the new. Any old testament scripture that is not validated by the new covenant is null and void.

• Spiritual growth is your responsibility. You (not God) determine whether you become mature or not.

• Growth requires diligence. You must pursue Spiritual maturity with the same commitment that you reserve for work and personal advancement.

• Fruitfulness is a function of growth. Salvation through faith is rudimentary. You must build on this by developing good character. If you are not bearing fruit, you are still a child.

Fruits of Spiritual Maturity

1. The fruit of the spirit - This is an expression of the life of God on your inside manifested in the way you live your life.
2. The fruit of your faith - Another proof of your maturity is your obedience to the great commission.

Spiritual Growth Compass

1. Surrender - How yielded are you to God? Does He have the final say in the affairs of your life? Can God change your mind? Surrender is not only a measure of your growth but an opportunity to grow further.
2. Service - Commitment to serving God is a mark of spiritual growth. Babies do not serve. All they are interested in is attention. Adults on the other hand, are contributors.
3. Suffering - Your ability to bear pain is proof of maturity. Children whine about everything the have to deal with, Adults endure suffering patiently. God allows pain because it makes us better. With Him, no experience we face is ever wasted.

• You can't claim to be saved and still be your old self. The way you see yourself in Christ Jesus is what you metamorphose into.

• The picture of yourself you should see in Him is one of righteousness, divine health, prosperity and victory.

• Don't see yourself anymore as a sinner. If you fall into sin, get back on your feet, repent of it and see yourself as the righteousness of God in Christ, living from victory to victory.

• You become and look more like Jesus as you are transformed from one level of glory to another by the Spirit of God.

• It is wrong to give up on yourself and believe you can't change. You undermine God's ability when you do so.

• Anybody can change. We sometimes think best of ourselves and believe others won't change. Never write off anyone.

• God's word is capable of bringing about change in any life. Lay hold of God's word and you will be transformed from one level of glory to another.

• Spiritual Growth is the extent to which the spirit of God dominates your soul and body. The more your soul yields to the spirit of God, the more spiritual you become and the more the body yields to the flesh, the more carnal you become.

• The word of God strengthens your spirit as you spend time in study and prayer.

• Your spiritual growth and maturity will be seen in the choices you make.

• The key to metamorphosis is a genuine desire and hunger for God's word which brings salvation that transforms us into the righteousness of God.

• God's word is the primary agent of transformation. Open yourself to it, be available for every service so you continue to grow.

• Submit yourself totally to God as you read and meditate on His word and the Spirit of God will transform you.

• What you see in the mirror of God's Word is what you will metamorphose into.

• All of scripture points to Jesus. He is the expression of the glory, nature and fullness of God. And He has given unto us that same glory.

• In Christ Jesus, you are the glory of God - perfect, sinless, wise and victorious.

• Jesus didn't only come to die and reconcile us to God but to be our pattern for living. So we must be like Him in everything.

• Growth is not always obvious. Transformation is happening on the inside though you may not know it. So give yourself and others a chance.

As Christians, prayer should be a way of life. We should pray even when it does not feel like there is an obvious need for it.

Prayer does not arm-twist God into doing what is not in accordance with His will or in our best interests. It aligns us to God's purposes and helps us submit to His will.

What God does not take away in answer to prayer, He gives you strength and grace to bear through.

Anybody can learn to pray. No one was born a prayer warrior. We all grow in prayer through practice.

The Lord's prayer is not a formula or template for prayer. It merely provides principles and guidelines for effective prayer. For example:

1. 'Our Father' - Recognize God as your source. He is your father, so He is ultimately responsible for you.

2. 'Hallowed be thy name' - Begin with a heart of adoration and worship. Don't start with a petition, lead with honour.

Why do we pray?

Thy will be done on earth as in heaven:

1. God is omnipotent and omniscient, but He will not act until we acknowledge and invite Him into our domain.

2. God has given man authority over the earth and wants him to cede it back to Him in prayer, so He has the legal right to act on his behalf.

Principles of prayer

Prayer must be intentional. It should not happen accidentally or by chance. It must be planned and executed on schedule.

Prayer must be habitual. It must become second nature and your default mode when faced with situations. Pray all the time.

Prayer must be vocal. It is not felt, thought or imagined but spoken. You must learn to verbalize your intentions and desires in prayer.

Prayer must be scriptural. We have the assurance of an answer when we pray according to God's will. We pray according to God's will by praying His word.

We pray to the father in the name of the son. The authority in the name of Jesus guarantees that God will give us what we ask.

Prayer requires concentration. You need a certain level of privacy and isolation to pray effectively. Avoid distraction when you pray.

A church that is free of offence is extremely powerful. Malice and division are detrimental to our efficacy in prayer. We must avoid them at all costs and agree.

Prayer is a service unto God. You can minister to God and the body of Christ through prayer, fasting and intercession.

The foundation for serving God is your personal consecration. Until you lay your life down at God's feet, you can't serve Him.

Until there is a shift in your mind, you cannot serve. Kingdom culture is to embrace greatness through service.

The greatest service that can be rendered in the kingdom is soul winning. Every other assignment is complementary to the great commission.

We are commanded to preach the gospel to every creature. Nobody is too lost to be saved by the grace of God.

Joy is the blessing and privilege of every soul winner. Heaven rejoices every time you win a soul and that joy radiates into your life.

The preaching of the gospel makes the power of God available. It activates your authority and dominion over demons and evil spirits.

The gospel that you preach has the power to deliver you. You will not die as long as you have a message on your lips to deliver on God's behalf.

The soul-winning cycle is not complete until converts are discipled to maturity in the local church then sent out to win others. When you win souls, bring them to church.

When you serve, God will bless you. He guarantees that he will reward you in four (4) ways:

1. Sanctification of your food and water

2. Healing and Divine Health

3. Fruitfulness in your body and life

4. Long life

God has given everyone something. Discover your gift and use it to serve God by advancing His kingdom. What you do not use, you will lose.

It's God's desire that you live to a ripe full old age. It is also his will that you live out your days in good health.

2 Keys to Long Life and Good Health

1. Spiritual Genetics  

When you receive Christ, your spiritual heritage overwrites your natural one. You are the seed of Abraham and long life is in your DNA.

1. Your Tongue

Your confession will determine the course of your life. Do not dig your grave with your mouth. Submit your tongue to the influence of the spirit of God and it will speak life.

Even more crucial than your outward confession is your inner, often unspoken, self-talk. There is nothing more powerful than the words that you say to yourself.

You can refine your inner conversations by meditating on God's word and praying in the Spirit.

Satan is the source of all sicknesses and diseases. Jesus died so that he could destroy Satan's works and give us life.

As children of God, we have been given authority over the spirits behind all kinds of diseases. No sickness is beyond our control.

Sickness has no authority to dwell in your body. Any disease dwelling in your body does so illegally and must be evicted.

Healing is good but God's will for His children is that we live in divine health and bring healing to others.

The most potent weapon that can be deployed against the spirit of sickness is the word of God. The word is God's instrument of deliverance.

The gospel does not oppose medicine. God can heal with or without doctors. Our first resort, when afflicted by disease, should however be God's word, not medical science.

God's word is medicine. You should have faith in what God's word says about you not the doctor's report, a prescription or a dietary regimen.

Sickness is incapable of ending a believer's life. A lack of faith in or ignorance of God's word is the real killer. Hold on to God's word - it is your life.

Faith

• Faith is critical if we hope to receive anything from God. It is the evidence of the things that we hope for.

• This means that we hold on to what God says about your prosperity regardless of current circumstances.

• Your words are reflections of what you believe. Do not nullify your faith with your confession of lack and poverty. Confess your expectations, not your experiences.

• If you believe that God has prospered you, it will show in your actions. Confession is not enough - make a move!

• Grace

• Grace is God's divine ability and resources put at your disposal. It is triggered by faith.

• Without grace, success and prosperity are a struggle. Grace allows you to achieve and become more than you could by your labour.

• There is an element to true prosperity that cannot be fully explained naturally. This dimension is the grace of God.

Two (2) Things That Will Release Grace

1. Humility - A proud man cannot receive grace because he does not believe that he needs it. Humility is evidenced in the willingness to learn and start small.
2. Generosity - To enjoy grace, you must give with a willing heart. Giving breaks the hold of money on your life and sets you up to receive.

The Blessing

• God's blessing brings prosperity that cannot be achieved by your human efforts.

• One way to activate the blessing of the covenant is tithing. It acknowledges God as our source and positions us to enjoy prosperity.

• Being born again should not be an excuse for poverty. Scripture teaches that the covenant qualifies us for wealth and riches as children of God.

• Never apologize for being or desiring to be wealthy. Unrighteousness is not a prerequisite for prosperity. You can be rich and holy.

• If you will prosper, you must get comfortable about wealth and wealth conversations. It is God's will that you live a good life on earth.

• Wealth like righteousness is a spiritual inheritance. If you are born again, you have the blessing of Abraham and you have no reason to be poor.

• Prosperity is having a sustainable, irreversible flow of abundance. You are truly prosperous when your earning is not solely tied to your labour.

• Wealth is measured in time not figures - How long would you be able to sustain your current level of life without new income? True wealth is irreversible.

• Poverty is evil. It robs you of your voice and dignity. Do not excuse it away. Decide that in this life, you will not be poor.

• Most people are neither rich nor poor. They are somewhere in between and therein lies the problem. Don't allow a little comfort cause you to settle for the middle.

• The world over, women make more money than men do. More homes are sustained by women than at anytime before. Men must rise up to the challenge and prosper.

• Lazarus' biggest problem was desire - he desired crumbs. The other one was that he had adjusted to his situation. Refuse to get comfortable with charity.

• To adequately prosper in life, you must connect with purpose. It will give you motivation to get out of bed every day and hit the streets.

• For a while it did appear that death had triumphed over Jesus. It seemed that all hope was lost and the darkness has prevailed over light.

• The grave however could not hold Jesus captive. At the appointed time, God did what He promised to do. Jesus triumphed over death and rose in victory.

• All power in heaven and earth has been given to Jesus. In dying and resurrecting, He stripped Satan of the power of death. If you believe in Him, the devil cannot take your life.

• The fear of death is of the devil. Refuse to live your life in bondage to the one from who you have been delivered.

• The same spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells on your inside so nothing is permitted to die in your life.

Locating your ministry in God's salvation plan.

1. Simon of Cyrene - Every child of God must like Simon, be willing to put their shoulder to the cross of Christ and openly identify with His suffering.
2. Joseph of Arimathea - Joseph did not fear the stigma of Christ's apparent defeat. We should be willing to use our resources, position, influence and goodwill to serve the purposes of Jesus.
3. The women at the grave - These women worked to ensure that the body of Jesus smelt good. As Christians, we are called to preserve Christ's legacy not tear it down.
4. Mary Magdalene - She stayed at the grave long after everyone had quit and left and so was first to witness His salvation. We are called to hold on to Jesus even when all seems to have failed. He will never fail us.

• Salvation is a call to separation and consecration. As a child of God, you have been called out of darkness into God's glorious light.

• As a Christian you should never be ashamed of who you are. Celebrate your identity and associate yourself with the gospel.

• When you get saved, you are different from the rest of the world. Do not seek to conform to the darkness. Stand out as light!

• It is not possible to love God and the world system at the same time. If you are a child of God, your life must be a reflection of His values. Your loyalty must lie ultimately with Him.

• In the kingdom, we do not live by our feelings or desires. We live by the word of God.

• Your actions are a reflection of the state of your mind. Allow God's word to transform your thinking so that your lifestyle can be pleasing to Him.

• The friends you keep will determine the course of your life. Cultivate relationship that will help you live the kind of life that God desires for you.

• As a parent, you have a responsibility to model a godly example for your children. They will copy what you do not what you say.

• The natural thing to do in the face of an obstacle is to stand still or retreat. God would however have you advance. March forward!
• God never gives us all the details. He reveals the next steps as we obey His instruction. We encounter miracles in the place of obedience.
• Until you decide to quit, you have not yet failed. No matter how tough things are, keep putting one foot in front of the other.
• Stagnation is not God's will for your life. He designed us to be mobile. When Satan wants to destroy you, He tries to get you stuck. Resist his antics.
• Salvation does not lie in standing still. You will see the hand of God when you move forward.
• Don't be afraid. Your confidence in God when faced with adversity confounds the enemy. It is proof that you already have the victory.
• Watch what you say in your moments of adversity. This is a reflection of what you believe and ultimately determines the course of your life.
• Whatever you adjust to will never change. Refuse to accept your suffering as normal. Desire the best that God has for you.
• The only thing worse than stagnation is regression. Refuse to go back to what God has delivered you from.
• Believe in God for supernatural intervention in every situation that stands as an opposition to your advancement.
• God will part the red sea before you but it is up to you to advance afterwards. March forward in faith and believe that God will perfect what He has started.

• Satan is the source of every disease. Irrespective of the scientific justifications, sickness is demonic. Do not excuse or explain it away - refuse to accept it.

• God is able to heal all diseases. He is powerful enough to terminate every medical affliction. It is His will that you live in divine health.

• We receive divine healing by simply having faith in Jesus. Doctors are limited in their capacity but God is the great physician. He can heal all ailments no matter how chronic.

• God is not only able to heal you. He is also willing to do so. He is good and desires that you live in divine health.

• If people outside the covenant enjoyed the healing power of Jesus, we are even more entitled to it on this side of the cross.

• By looking to the sacrifice of Jesus at Calvary, we are released from the consequences of sin and set free from every disease.

All things are yours in Christ. Do not allow yourself to be intimidated by the things that others have.

Your quality of life is not a function of your possessions, location, circumstances, or background. It is a function of what you believe.

When God is your source, you cannot lack any good thing. By faith, we receive the blessings of the covenant.

Do not allow yourself to be defined by your circumstances. God is not through with you, don't change your name yet.

4 Warnings and a Charge

1. Don't ask your father for a portion. All that he has belongs to you.
2. Don't feed with swine. No matter how bad your circumstances get, don't forget who you are.
3. Don't let your struggle become your identity. You will have adversity but you should never let it define you.
4. Don't let envy make you miserable. There is enough in God to go round. Celebrate the blessings of others.
5. Possess your possessions. All things are yours but you must consciously press into what God has made available in faith.

• His principle also applies to the kingdom today. God is still looking for one man (not a committee) whose service will make a difference in the local church.
• God is counting on you. The future and fortunes of generations are tied to your success. Take your life seriously. Serve God with everything that He has given you.
• If things are not working where you find yourself, don't complain. Stand up, be counted, and take responsibility. You can make a difference.
• You may not look or feel like the 'One Man' that we have been waiting on. Don't write yourself off. Make yourself available and God will use you.
