Romans 8:15 15 For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to bring you back again into fear; on the contrary, you received the Spirit, who makes us sons and by whose power we cry out, “Abba!” (that is, “Dear Father!”).
In the latter text, Shaul (also known as Paul) provides an introductory lesson on being a natural-born son versus being adopted. In numerous translations, the expression adopted sons is commonly used. Paul, however, doesn’t use the word for adoption. The rationale behind not doing it is not based on it being wrong but on the fact that it is implied. Signifying more than our transformation from spiritual death to life as children of God, the phrase “adopted” carries a deeper meaning. This meaning encompasses more than transforming from being a gentile in the flesh to embracing Jewishness in the Spirit. Paul acknowledges further revelations as he concludes this sentence, expressing his awe with the exclamation, “Abba!” (that is, Dear Father!”)

It is essential to note that this study does not sway from the truth that Jesus is The Messiah of all mankind. There is no departure from that truth! Anything contrary is a heretical belief that can lead to eternal destruction. Rather, this explains why today’s Jewish theology, indeed the first-century theology, does not believe in Yeshua (Jesus) as the Messiah.
Throughout the Tanakh, a messiah with prophetic, priestly, and kingly attributes was expected. And when interpreting the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Qumran community’s theology didn’t differ. The Qumran community was a group of highly zealous Jews striving to follow and achieve intimacy with God. Despite their fervor, it is essential to note that they were not studying from an established Jewish canon. Additionally, the absence of an established canon during the Qumran era makes it difficult to reconstruct which writings were deemed as scripture and which were not. However, the Qumran did profoundly believe that Ha Maschiach, The Messiah, would come with three attributes.
1) Priest
2) King
3) Prophet

When we consider Yohanan's opening verse in chapter 5, we see Hashem holding a book with seven seals. While the English translation uses the word seal (Chatmavot – חׂתָמוֹת), the Hebrew word is slightly different. Throughout the Tanakh (Old Testament), we find that God uses a signet ring to distinguish his people. The use of the ring or signet represented a seal of royalty and nobility. Unauthorized breaking this mark, which sealed a document, law, or decree, would lead to death. Only the king's agents were authorized to carry the document, and only authorized receivers could open it.

As we begin chapter five, we find something interesting that needs exploring. The first four chapters are evident regarding the great Rosh Hashanah. We find that the gates to heaven are opened and that Yohanon can see through in the throne room. A great king has come to his people and has waited for who will go to him. Chapter five, however, is the beginning of the great Yamim Noraim, the ten days of awe, ending with Chapter Seven. In the following two chapters, we see HaShem metering out the last chance judgment against all mankind.

As we venture into the key verse of Revelation Chapter 4, we find a word often translated as creature. Several translations like the complete Jewish Bible will render the word as being. However, when we examine both Genesis and Ezekiel in chapter one, we find the Hebrew word to mean something different. That word translated correctly in the Tanakh is likeness. In Hebrew, you would say demut (דְמוּת), meaning; likeness or to resemble.
One of the many mysteries behind the narrative of Revelation, in this case, chapter 4:1, is the translated words into English. When we look at the original spoken Hebrew, we see redundancy. Several words and phrases HaShem uses when speaking to John are vital in understanding the meaning behind the moment. In verse one, we find two such words hidden in translation. Changes made these words unrecognizable during conversions into Latin, Greek, and English. Christendom, therefore may not recognize these words in Hebrew because of the switch.

In 1830, 15-year-old Margarett MacDonald (Glasgow, Scotland) was said to fall into a deep hypnotic state. Her utterance was recorded by Dr. Robert Norton in 1840. Her 1522 word epitaph changed theology, resulting in the pre-tribulation doctrine. Three years earlier, Norton had penned his thesis of the pre-tribulation anomaly and quickly claimed McDonald’s words to be true.

This familiar phrase was introduced to us by Hashem in the Torah when he brought Rosh Hashanah into existence. Let’s not forget that the rabbis and sages teach that on Rosh Hashanah, the gates to Heaven are opened. What we find in verse 8 is that to those who overcome and prevail over sin and temptation, he puts them directly in front of the gate. Their faithfulness through his blood and sacrifice has opened it, and no one can close it.

As we continue studying John's vision, we will find much emphasis is put on clothing. White garments washed in the lamb's blood—garments of purity to cover our nakedness. Regal gowns and coverings identify us as heirs of the Kingdom of grace. This clothing is limited to dresses and covers and includes the tallit.
In verse 4 of chapter 3, we found our key verse. In keeping with Gimmel, we uncovered the word ga’alo (גֵאֲלוּ), which means ‘defiled.’ In verse 5, we discover another instance of gimmel (ג) to help uncover the mystery behind this letter and the chapter. It’s the Hebrew word B'gadim (בְּגָדִים), meaning clothing.

As we compare revelation chapter 3 with the third Hebrew letter Gimmel, we must first go back to Isaiah Chapter 11. Of course, HaShem introduces the seven spirits in Revelation 1:4 and again in 3:1. As we consider the presence of the Hebrew letter gimmel in chapter 3, we must understand the fifth Spirit of HaShem. It is the Spirit of Power, bravery, strength, and greatness. As we begin to uncover the presence of gimmel in chapter 3, we see the underlying message and the chapter's focus.

In chapter one, the mysteries behind John’s (Yohanan) vision are lost in translation. In Revelation 1:11, we find an omission on most English translations. This subtraction from the original text has led to a misunderstanding of the intent and power of the narrative.
This verse contains Messiah's command for Yohanan to write it down for the seven Messianic Communities in Asia Minor. Unfortunately, the opening declaration in verse eleven isn't translated. Instead, the phrase is a casualty of the book's Latin and Greek interpretations.

At the very core of Torah and Observant Jewish orthodoxy exists a dilemma for the Christian Church. This subject has fueled debate, anger, fear, and ex-communication for those who differ from the teaching masses' opinions.
The very centerpiece of Jewish existence is ignored chiefly and barely practiced in today's Christian Church. It is the Sabbath, or Shabbat, or the Shabbos. According to the Talmud (a primary source of Jewish law), Shabbat is the very center and Servant (Shamash) of the commandments, statutes, and ordinances given by G-d to Moses on Mount Sinai.

Reading Jeremiah 6:16 in Hebrew is different. As you see in the latter verse, there are a few differences as well as similarities.
I share this scripture because this is the verse Jesus refers to in Matthew 11:28. *"And you will find rest for your souls."

The reason for the issue is that the Messiah uses the word אָנִיחַ anikha, which is Aramaic for a camel's resting place.

Today we will be learning about the translated word gentleness. When we look at the word itself, gentleness is self-explanatory. Our English definition, having or showing a mild, kind, or tender temperament or character, offers a very meek and mild-mannered man. This is not precisely the case in Hebrew, as the word used is anavah, humility.
I want to draw your attention to a spiritual discipline that I think is necessary for understanding the mindset for navigating tough, complex challenges. Therefore, I challenge you to self-examine for the good of your soul and others you will minister to.

Paul, in one straightforward sentence, outlines the prerequisite for ministry preparation. After the vision has been cast, the harvest identified, and the workers assembled, there is one critical moment which everyone must perform—self-examination of your spirit.
