I finally set up a temporary space in my house for recording podcasts, filming YouTube videos, and just making any type of content I feel like. I felt like sitting down and just making a video/podcast (which will also be featured in the audio only form as well). As usual I had no plan here so I did what I do best and shot from the hip.
This video is pretty much an ADHD fueled rant about a bunch of different topics. I thank you so much for watching and I can't wait to bring you much more helpful info in the future. If there are topics and things you are having an issue with please feel free to reach out to me jwmphoto1@gmail.com

I'm back! I felt inspired yet again to record another episode of from the road on the RODE. These are kind of a new way for me to podcast, I have very little free time and not a lot of privacy where I can get these recorded in a studio or at home. So I decided that while I'm on my way into my day job I would record (when inspired) in my car using my Rode NT-USB MINI plugged directly into my iPhone. It is a little noisier than you are used to and much more than I'd like . All of that being said I want to always continue creating content for those who want to listen. I also want to thank all of you that keep coming back for my short little podcast , and I hope you continue! Enjoy and I'll see ya in the next one!

I’ve been missing in action, have you missed me? Well I’ve missed you, this episode is much different than any other that I’ve done in the past. What I mean is that I recorded this episode on the road to my day job and only using the on board mic on my phone. Please excuse the background noise. Also excuse any mispronounced words as it was 3:30 am when I recorded this . Please contact me if you do or don’t like this new format, are you excited to hear from me again?
All the love in the world to you all! And …
I’ll be back 😎

I just wanted to take an opportunity to share some new music I made using some software that I've taken for granted for a long time. I really had no idea that I could've been making my own music for my video work. My foot is all messed up so I was just wanting to create something for all of you. I hope you like it, and I hope you get inspired to make your own music!

Welcome back everyone! Thank you so much for checking back in with me. I have been super busy lately and not busy shooting photos! Having a full-time job, and balancing Homelife has been a chore! I'm back and I plan on continuing to manage this podcast as business as usual, well hopefully a little better.
In this episode I do a quick gear review of the Triton fethead microphone preamp, as well as talk a bit about what's been going on with me. I don't want to give away too much, you'll have to go check it out for yourself.
As always if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions please feel free to email me (no you won't end up on a mailing list). haha

In this episode I'm reviewing the canon rf 15-35 f2.8 lens, as well as the 50 mm f1.8 rf lens,
I will also give some incite into the canon RP. Ive been using the canon RP for roughly a year now and I have really loved it although there are some things that I don't like about it.
I recently rented the afore mentioned lenses and even went ahead and purchased one of them! Here are a couple of links to help you.
Canon 50 mm f1.8
Canon 15-35 f2.8 rf
These are the amazon links to purchase, you can also rent them. The rental house of my choice is always going to be LENSRENTALS.COM

This episode is a rant! A rant about men taking advantage of women simply because they have a camera. I could write more but that negates the point of this episode.

Im in South Carolina on a solo vacation of sorts, a much needed break from everything. I have been experiencing what can only be referred to as a creative hurdle or a mental blockage. I have been working non stop at my full-time job, and with all that's been going on in my life I've been finding it more and more difficult to just get out and shoot. Finding jobs isn't hard, its finding things that I enjoy shooting that is the difficult thing. As well as finding the time to do it!
Maybe you'll gain some new thought processes here, as it relates to your work or just life in general.

On this Episode I cover just a few things I learned this year shooting weddings, I'm sure there are so many more tips that I'm forgetting, but this is all I could think of at the time.

In this episode I'm discussing my personal thoughts on the matter of film versus digital photography. Mostly those that claim to be purists and try to convince soon to be brides that film is the way to go. I won't say much more here, you'll have to listen to the episode for my full opinion on this matter. Thank you so much for listening and I can't wait to start hearing from you all!

Welcome back and thank you for coming back to listen to another installment of Archetype Aperture! In this episode I will be discussing how to shoot in low light situations, as well as defining a bit more of what this podcast is and who its for. I also discuss my crazy brain, and how and why I skip around so frequently from subject to subject.
My hope is that this episode will actually teach you something, and not just bore you to tears.

Hi and welcome to my little corner of the world! This podcast is created for those that are beginners to intermediate in the art of photography. In this my first episode to be uploaded (not the first episode recorded) I discuss change, changes in marketing, changes in life and how its affecting me. This first episode is mainly a daily thought that I had, the following episodes will most likely follow that pattern. As I have thoughts throughout the day, I may decide to sit down and discuss them with you!
