Meaningful conversations between people, 'not quite strangers', to inspire curiosity, build connection, and challenges the status quo.
Each session consists of a mindful activity and a conversation to shine a light on how to bring possibility to your life. Each week a special guest brings their stories and experiences to help you get conscious, connected, and creative.

“There are dreamers and there are believers, I'm a dream believer” - Anonymous
“Write every day, line by line, page by page, hour by hour. Do this despite fear. For above all else, beyond imagination and skill, what the world asks of you is courage, courage to risk rejection, ridicule, and failure. As you follow the quest for stories told with meaning and beauty, study thoughtfully but write boldly. Then, like the hero of the fable, your dance will dazzle the world.” ― Robert McKee

Meaningful conversations between people, 'not quite strangers', that inspire curiosity, build connection, and challenge the status quo. The new podcast will be released in mid-February 2021. Stay connected and stay tuned!
Howard Thurman: "Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs are more people who have come alive."
For nearly two years, I took what started as an opportunity to build my brand as a leadership coach and a speaker, and tapped into an amazing community to learn and grow with. The Time to Come Alive podcast has featured more than 80 guests and 101 episodes.
From the start, I was the one asking the questions, digging into what inspires and makes people spark into action. As I close this chapter, the tables are turned, and former guest, filmmaker, and executive coach, Ingrid Gavshon, interviews me to share what brings me to life.

Nelson Mandela: "What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived; it is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead."
For Dr. Mark Rittenberg, the founder of the University of California Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute, his call of duty is a way of life, not just the name of a video game. His philosophy of bringing love and the power of human connection to leadership may be both inspiring and challenging. Throughout this conversation, he shares the importance and impact of intimacy, compassion, and commitment to others throughout his life.

Not all gifts, talents, and opportunities look alike but they all have the same value in humanity. For Dr. Froswa’ Booker-Drew, Vice President of Community Affairs for the State Fair of Texas, it is clear that her life has been led by her calling. We talk about the state of the world and how love can be as powerful a force as hate. Learn how to find the “soul” food that fulfills us by bringing peace and joy.

This is a relationship that is designed for maximum growth. Physical, emotional, spiritual growth. The kind of relationship where you bring out the best in one another to have it expressed or perhaps you bring out the areas that are underdeveloped and need to grow. Here is where you find those who challenge you. They are the ones who ask questions, who show how and where you can be even better. Law of polarity at play. I promised to kick butt this new year by going to my martial arts class in the afternoon. Then I got "busy" and missed the class. For me, "busy" is yet another creative way to resist doing something whether I am aware of it in the moment or not.
What are you resisting in your life? How does it show up?

When we create a vision for our lives and set goals, we set in motion an inevitable challenge that we must overcome. Those nagging voices in our heads that plant seeds of doubt like, "Seriously, you don't even know how to do that!" or a seductive, "No need to work so hard, you deserve a break." Even more insidious, the kind of thoughts that won't you even dare to think about your dream.
Let me introduce you to the ANTs, Gremlins, and Dragons. Learn about their purpose, what actions you can take and how to overcome them.
