Savannah is a 24 year old writer from Canada. When she’s not training for triathlons you can find her playing music exploring the outdoors or connecting with loved ones. (Optional), growing up in Africa, Savannah saw the need for restoring balance, a sense of belonging and daily bravery back to our lives, hence the evolution of The Theory of Thirds. Addy is an outdoor loving girl from WA state. Before Utah, she was living in British Columbia, Canada where she met Sav and where she worked in a rehabilitation program for traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivors to improve cognitive skill & overall quality of life. She is now pursuing her dream as a life coach and advocating for the traumatic brain injury community. Together they formed the theory of thirds podcast, where they discuss how life isn't so black and white, and how we can find balance, belonging, and bravery in this crazy life

My manBen Kjar has been on the show before.  He's an international speaker, real estate genius, and father to 3 awesome little kids.  He was born with Crouzons syndrome, which left him with a deformed face.  He was told he would never be normal.  He learned to use his disability as a superpower, and he's gone on to do amazing things.  Today, we talk about the victor over victim mentality, and how we need to own our struggles.  It's ok to not be ok! It doesn't mean we shouldn't strive for greatness in all we do

Today we are going to be talking about SEX. For some reason, so many parents are scared to talk about sex with their kids, and when they do talk about sex, they make it some shameful forbidden thing. Proper sex education in the home is so necessary and crucial for kids. It helps them avoid harmful addictions to pornography, and if you don’t teach them, they’ll just turn to the internet, and we don’t want that. That is why I brought with me today, Carlie Palmer Webb, the Christian sex educator. She’s awesome and yall will love this episode. @carliepalmerwebb https://www.thechristiansexeducator.com

there are some things in a kids life that can really rock their world. One of those things is divorce, and it can really have a negative effect on kids. But it doesn’t have to be that way. I have with me on the show today, Ben Heldfond and Nikki DeBartolo. They are the founders of the Our Happy Divorce page, and co-authors of Our Happy Divorce, How Ending Our Marriage Brought Us Closer Together. When is the last time that you've talked about sexual predators with your kids?  Are you having age appropriate conversations to help keep your kids safe?  Too many of us are turning a blind eye to this topic and something NEEDS to change. Today I talk with Mallory Tingey, who is a survivor of child sexual abuse.  It has taken her 20 YEARS to heal from her traumas, and she continues to share and give hope to so many.  This is going to be heavy, but we need to talk about this. If you were sexually abused, IT WAS NOT YOUR FAULT.  We need to change the conversation around this so victims no longer feel shame.

What’s up everybody and welcome back! It is great to be at BBG! In this day and age, there are so many things vying for our attention. So many distractions. I mean I remember when wrapping paper rolls became my lightsaber and I was a Jedi knight! But now kids are just kind of in front of their screens. What is up everybody and welcome back! It is great to be at BBG. So I don’t know if you guys have noticed, but our youth are in crisis. The numbers of kids who suffer from depression and anxiety continue to rise, and suicide rates continue to climb year after year. Kids need our help. It is time to change the way we talk about mental health. Someone who has been fighting hard to raise a big voice to all of this is my guest today, Tessa Stuckey. She’s a licensed counselor who sees firsthand with her clients the mental health crisis that we are in. She’s amazing and we are going to be talking about how we can actively parent against all the cultural influences that are contributing to the rise in mental health issues.

What’s up everybody and welcome back! It is great to be at BBG! Our youth feel immense pressure to be perfect and not make mistakes. And they naturally feel immense guilt when they make a mistake. One thing that most of our youth struggle with to some degree is pornography. Smart phones and social media have made it ever more accessible. It’s no longer if you see it, but when you see it. There is a misconception that this is only a boys problem when all kids struggle with it. Because of that, a lot of girls are left hiding in shame because they don’t feel like it is normal for them to struggle. News flash, its normal to struggle! And its not their fault that they are struggling. It’s time to change the stigma around making mistakes. In an effort to give some hope, I reached out to our guest today to share her story. Ashlee Ayre is an activist and child advocate who struggled with pornography for over 6 years. And her story is full of hope. And it will hopefully inspire all of us to share our struggles. Listen up, this one is going to be good. Make sure to follow me @bulliesbe.gone for your daily dose of positivity. And always remember, you are wonderful, you are worthy, and you are worth it. That’s why I am super happy that my guests today, Kami and Larry Kirby, are here. Every day, kids are trafficked through social media.  Every day, kids have their choices taken away from them.  And we need to stop living in denial.  My guest today, Elizabeth Frazier, is a sex traffic survivor. She was trafficked by her parents for nearly 20 years.  After she was safe enough to break those ties, and to heal, she found power in words.  She started a company called Hero Bands where she gives bracelets with words on them to survivors to help with their healing. She is AMAZING and we all need to hear her story.

We dive into how long she was trafficked, how she was able to heal, how Hero Bands became a thing, and how we can be a support to those who may be suffering who we are unaware of.  What changes do you need to make in order to make sure your kids are safe from predators online? What changes do you need to make in your home to make it a safe place for everyone?

You can go follow Elizabeth at @hero_bands on insta and herobands.com.
