This is about how often what we have been blessed with can be used to make an idol out of. Â IE When the Jews left Egypt, they ransacked the Egyptians from their wealth. This was the blessing of God. But then they used this gold to make a calf and worshipped it.Â

The Kingdom needs to be priority. Â It needs to be first place in your life, not just something that is added to what you already believe. Â If you don't learn this and apply it to your life and making it first, you will never truly reap the benefits of the Kingdom. Â Jesus said seek first the kingdom. Â Matthew 6:33
In practical terms, a kingdom may be defined as âThe sovereign rule of a king over territory (domain), impacting it with His will, purpose, and intent.â In the biblical text, the word âKingdomâ as used by Jesus refers to Godâs government, Godâs ruler-ship, Godâs dominion over the earth.Â
Jesus spoke in parables to the crowds of people to cover up the truth for those who were not ready for the Kingdom's truth. Jesus gave the truths/keys of the Kingdom to His disciples. Only those who are truth seekers where given the truths/keys of the Kingdom. There where only a handful of people who were Jesusâs disciples and even today there are only a few who are truth seekers. If you are reading this, then you are a truth seeker and the Kingdom has been unlocked for you.Â

1. Pool of Bethesda
Many people believed that Jesus only healed one person at the pool of Bethesda, so it was assumed that it was the leading of the Holy Spirit and that is why Jesus did not heal anybody else and that God chooses who He heals and who He does not. So therefore healing is not for everyone. But is this really what this particular story is telling us. Â -Â
2. Rhema vs Logos
Traditionally we have been taught that logos is the written Word and Rhema is the spoken Word. So whatever you are reading in Scripture is the logos. If any Scripture spoke to you, or you get a divine revelation or a leading, then that is the Rhema word. Â You need a Rhema word from God before you could act on a scripture. Â However, is that really the case?Â
There is a misconception in the church today, that aims to blame all sin and problems on generational curses. It is believed that, once these curses are dealt with, all the problems and sins will  go away. When new problems evolve, they then try and dig   further into their past, hoping to find some curses that will explain the reason for their situation and not for their own actions.     If you want to order this manual you can email us at contactus@dtlm.org.za
On numerous occasions, when discussions regarding healing, trials, blessings, etc, the phrase âGod is in controlâ or" God is sovereign" will come up. Â Although this expression is true there seems to be a variety of different ideas about what this phrase actually means. The purpose of this section is to examine what sovereignty means in general, and then look at how that applies to God.
The book of Job has been one of the most misunderstood books in the Bible. It has led many people to believe that God randomly chooses people to test them with trials and misfortune. But is it true?
The misunderstanding of Paul's thorn in the flesh has created a thorn in the flesh to the entire church. Â The miss-use of this text has caused a great weakness to come upon the church and an unnecessary sickness to Believers.
Jesus came to rescue us from an identity that was never meant for us. He came to show us who we were created to be. Jesus taught His own disciples that it would be enough for them to be just like Him.
The question that we should really be asking ourselves is, 'do we have an Old Covenant mindset where we are still looking forward to a promise to be filled in our lives?' or, 'do we have a New Covenant mindset where we look back to what God has already done?' Â Â
What is the difference?
As a Believer, you must always look to Godâs Word as your ultimate guide and foundation. It is obedience to His Word, and not the opinions of men, that will produce the right results, irrespective of your denominational background or upbringing.
For years I found myself, like many believers have, going from service to service and meeting to meeting with very little victory over sin and sickness. There was a hunger in my heart to see the same supernatural things that I had seen while growing up. Wherever I searched for answers, I could not find them. I began to realize that something was amiss. Â
It was at this low point that I had decided to give up on pursuing Godâs calling on my life. But God had other plans!Â
