Lakilia is helping her students overcome obstacles that she had to battle as a child. She knows how to rise above life's circumstances to live a successful life and is passionate about showing her students the way. Lakilia is driven to help her kids set and achieve their life goals.
This is Lakilia Bedeau, she is a FRYSC Hero, and this is her story.
While Jenny Clark is no stranger to working in the school system, this semester is the first for her as a FFRYSC Coordinator. Being thrown in the deep end during the pandemic has given her a new set of hurdles that she has had to overcome to succeed in helping her students.

Serenda is a Systems Advocacy Specialists with Hope Harbor. She works with victims of sexual abuse traverse the different legal, education, and medical systems.
She is also is a Certified Violence Prevention Instructor working closely with FRYSC Regina Powell, South Warren High School YSC, and Angie Smith, Warren East High School YSC, while delivering the Green Dot Violence Prevention Program which has been ongoing for the last 11 years.

Marianna Romero is a 27-year veteran FRYSC with Reidland FRC. Marianna has vast experience to share in all aspects of the FRYSC world. She is a twin, loves playing music, and listening to empowering audiobooks.

LT Gov Jacqueline Coleman is a former coach, teacher, school administrator, and not the Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky. She has a very unique perspective of working alongside FRYSC's in these different roles. She recognized the importance of FRYSC's role in the classroom and the community. I asked LT Gov Jacqueline Coleman about the budgets of FRYSC's across the state. She had some hopeful news and a call to action. She is a FRYSC Friend and this is her story...
On this episode of FRYSC Heroes, we chat with Chelsea Vincent of Bristow Elementary Family Resource Center. Chelsea is juggling the FRYSC Responsibility, working towards her masters in social work, and is now servicing 3x the number of families just since March. This is her story.
Today we have the pleasure of talking to a veteran FRYSC. Rita has been working with kids in schools for over 3 decades and 24 of those years as a FRYSC. She has a unique perspective as she is now working with kids of the children she helped when she was a new FRYSC. This one gets a little emotional as we discuss Rita's experiences working with children in need and their paretns as a Deputy Jailer.
