Having been inspired by so many wonderful friends, clients, and business owners who are doing tremendous work in the non-profit space, Rhonda would like to share some of these stories with her listeners, in order to inspire others to be servant leaders.
Our first guest in the line-up for the “SUCCESS TO SIGNIFICANCE” series is Henley Davis.
Henley is a 9th grader at Wesleyan School and has been nominated for the 2021 Students of the Year campaign in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (“LLS”). Students of the Year is a leadership development program to benefit the more than 1.2 million Americans who are living with blood cancer. Henley is leading Team CUREage, which is a group of high school students who are passionately fighting for their hearts, heroes, and honorees as many of them have a personal connection with these diseases.
During this campaign that runs from January 3rd to February 20th, their team is striving to raise $50,000.00. These funds will go directly to LLS in support of its longstanding mission to find a cure for blood cancers and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
