In Summary: NEW EPISODE ALERT

In this week’s episode we discuss the importance of recognizing when it’s time to let go or change something in your virtual assistant business. It’s not your clients, it’s you. What is it that you know you need to do that you’re afraid to do. I’m hear to let you know, it’s time.

Let’s get into it!

Tiffany

In Words:I’m your coach and I feel like an imposter because I don’t have it all together. However, who says, you have to have it all together?

If you’re feeling discomfort GREAT, that’s part of developing and growing.

What size shoe do you wear?

Have you always worn that size shoe?

Do you remember when your shoe size changed?

How did you know your shoe size changed?

  • Your feet started hurting
  • Your feet were snug in the shoe
  • You felt such relief when you took off the shoe
  • And then it got to a point you could not wear the shoe anymore

Maybe you had to wait and it went to far and your feet started bursting out of them. Or the seam or glue started separating from the shoe.

Discomfort is a clue that you’ve grown. And growth can’t be stopped.
Some things we’re going to grow in that have nothing to do with us.

  • Our experience teaches us things.
  • Our environment teaches us things.
  • What we watch, what we listen to, teaches us things.

We are always growing and learning whether we acknowledge it or not. And the discomfort let’s us know…WE’VE GROWN!

It’s time to go beyond where you’ve been. One half of you is ready, tell the the other half you MUST follow.

For the last week, I’ve been on our family’s “annual do nothing” week, that’s what I call it. And now that we’re back, I’m really still there.

My body is here but my mind is there. I’m not ready to be here yet. I’m still on vacation in my mind.

And that may be what’s happening with you. Part of you is present but the other part is trying to hold on.

I know I can’t hold on too much longer. I’ll be back on Monday.

However you have not determined your come back date. And if you don’t determine one, you may start experiencing the physical presentation of discomfort because of what you’re trying to hold on to.

The Bible says, you cannot put old wine into new wine skin. (Scripture: Luke 5:37)

If you’re doing something new, you can’t do it with the old thing.

What’s the old thing? Whatever it is you won’t let go of or change.
Whatever it is that you know doesn’t fit you anymore.

Why are you in the business of being a virtual assistant?
Does it still fit?
Where is God wanting you to go and you’re too afraid?

God has not given us a spirit of fear. What did he give us? A sound mind. (Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:7)

Your discomfort is a clue that you’ve grown. It’s also your body, mind, and or the holy spirit letting you know something has got to give.

What is it?

  • Only you know the answer to that question.

Feel free to share it if you’re led to do so when it’s time.

Your breakthrough may be what helps someone else.

Thanks so much for watching and listening. You have a wonderful and fantastic day!

Our inner critic keeps us from a lot of things. Imagine God instructing you to do something and you start telling him all the reasons why you can't. Imagine telling this to the one who created you. The one who knows you more than you know yourself. It's crazy right!

If he called you, then he means you. It's your inner critic that's speaking out of turn. In this episode, I’m challenging you to see the way you speak to yourself in a different way.

When I first started my virtual assistant business I did not understand this concept. Not fully anyway. I thought doing my client work was income generating. I mean after all when I did the work I got paid. However, when other business owners discussed income generating they were talking about much more than doing the work.

In a sense, because I had already gotten the project and was doing the work that income had already been generated. I needed to focus on generating more.
