This week is my final episode here on Idobi Radio, I'm calling it a day to focus on more music, I may be back in the future when I have more time to do this show, but I'd like to thank everyone that's been on the ride, and thanks to Idobi for pushing me into doing a show for them in the first place. This episode I have drummer Ben Hilzinger from the band Eve 6 and he also plays drums for the band Cannons. I met him before he was in either of these bands, we kept in touch and I met him through Mike Herrera of Mxpx. Ben and I have kept in touch over the years and I learn his story of how he came to LA from Washington to make a career as a drummer.
This week I have Jim and Han from the band Hot Milk from Manchester UK! I met them at this event I was throwing in L.A. called "Legends & Devils" at Grand Master Recordings, they stopped in at the club, and I saw Han was wearing this cool jacket, and I went up and started talk to them, and that's how we became friends. I had them on the show when they were visiting America writing new music, and they stopped by Idobi and I got to learn all about them.
This week I have long time friend and singer songwriter Seth Trotter from band The Higher, I did some of my early touring along side his band on tour packages, I even got to play drums on some of their newly released material! We talk about the career of Seth and what's next for The Higher going forward.
This week I have Jacob Spreng, he's made merch designs for our band, you've might have even seen him sell IDKHOW merch behind the table at our shows, or him just hanging out with us, he also makes music as well. I think he's a nice guy and wanted to have everyone learn a little more about him, we share some stories from the road as well.
This week I have long time friend and promoter from Arizona Stephen Chilton aka Psyko Steve! He has booked every band I've ever been in since I was the age of 17 years old, I met him by going to a concert in Arizona while visiting family because I cut these girls in line on accident on my way inside to the show (I thought I was going to the back of the line, but I went to the very front because I had never been to this place before). Here all his stories and learn more about Stephen and his awesome music festival he's throwing on for the first time called Zona!
This week I have bass player and song writer Jake Floyd from band The Orphan The Poet, I got to tour with him earlier in 2022 when I was filling in for my friends in the band Weathers, I got to know him and thought he was a cool dude and we had a lot in common and I wanted to bring him on my show to learn more about him and his band, they've had success in Cincinnati and have been on alt radio and now I get to hear his story.
I have professional photographer Alyson Coletta, she's has taken the absolute best live pics of me over the years in my drumming career, we talk about how she got started to where she is now, she takes the best photos for all your favorite bands and I wanted to have her on my show to learn more about her.
This week I have Dallon Weekes and myself go over the play by play of the album Razzmatazz. I try to get into his brain to see how he's come up with the songs and how they finally came to life. This is a repeated episode that aired 2 years ago, but I wanted to bring it to all the digital platforms so everyone can hear the band dynamic.
This week I have Actor and Musician, Thomas Ian Nicholas. He has been in such notable and iconic movies such as American Pie and Rookie Of The Year. I met him through Matt Kennedy of The Dangerous Summer and we've been friends ever since. I even drummed on an American Pie cover album of his that he sang on. We've been friends for a long time and I learn his story this week.
This week I have Digital Marketing Specialist Kyle Hulett, he works on getting eyeballs on bands off internet ads for such labels as Pure Noise and Sumerian, as well as other independent artists. We talk about what it takes to be in his industry and how it helps out bands with the right team, and how he came to be!
This week I have singer Nicolette Vilar from the band Go Betty Go, they're starting to play shows again and I talk to her about how she got her start in music and where her career has taken her. We also realized we've been on tour together before but didn't know it and didn't know each other, we met through mutual friends and I wanted to get her story.
This week I have Kelly Green from hardcore band Fight The Future, she was also in one of my first national act bands called "The Teen Tragedies." I joined the band when I was 15 and we started playing shows all over Utah and eventually toured the entire west coast and midwest in America. This was the band that started it all for me, hear our stories about how we met and how we both navigated our careers.
This week I have Jordan Witzigreuter from his solo project "The Ready Set." I first met him in 2009 when my band The Bigger Lights got to tour with him, he was opening for us and within months he exploded and became a superstar on the radio charts. We've kept in touch this whole time and have become good friends over the years, I have him on my show and teaches me how he got his start to where he is now, this week on my show!
This week I have Canadian Singer/Songwriter Priya Panda. She's been in bands such as Diemonds, She Demons and now has a new solo project. She's been nominated for a Juno and now resides in Hollywood, CA. I've gotten to know Priya over the last few years, I've even watched her cats from time to time, listen here to how she came to be!
This week I have legendary Indie/Alternative band The Juliana Theory, they were a huge influence on me growing up and I've been close friends with Brett now for 13 years, and have befriended Josh within the last couple of years! We talk about everything that Brett and Josh do, their tour stories and what's to come for the band, I'm very close with these guys, I even do day to day mgmt/touring logistics for them. This week I have pop outfit Moontower! I got to tour with them when I was on the road filling in on drums for my friends band Weathers, and we got to spend a lot of time together, and I wanted to have them on my show to learn a little more about them and how they became to be.
This week I have drummer "Manny The Drummer." I met him in 2015 when he was in a band called Ghost Town, and since his departure, he's been scoring movies and has played with the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Ashlee Simpson, and even did a track for P. Diddy! He's shown me some cool drum licks and I've shown him some double bass stuff, he's been in my life for a while and I truly love this dude. Check it out!

This week I have legendary rockstar Marko DeSantis! He’s played for such bands as The Swingin’ Utters, The Ataris, and his most notable band- Sugarcult! I got to learn all about his career starting in Santa Barbara through today. I got to first tour with Marko 20 years ago and we’ve been friends ever since, he has such a cool story, he even talks about how he grew up with Foo Fighters’ Chris Shiflett. Tune in!

This week I have singer/songwriter Brian Dales, I first met him in 2009 when my old band The Bigger Lights got to do early tours with his band The Summer Set, we’ve been in touch ever since and we find out how The Summer Set came out of hiatus and what Brian and the rest of the band are up to, as well as how he got started in music and is continuing new avenues related to music.

This week I have song writer and front man Brendan Scholz, I came across their music accidentally on Spotify, I looked more into the band and realized I've known Brendan all along, he's from Las Vegas and I think he's one of the most underrated musicians in the punk rock world, I love what he does and I wanted to have him on my show to talk about his life. This week I have Producer, Guitarist, Kevin Thrasher. He has made quite a name for himself in the last few years working for people like Travis Barker, Avril Levine, Bear, and Machine Gun Kelly. He's also the main song writer for band Escape The Fate. Kevin and I go far back in the music community and we started coming up around the same time in the music industry, I get his story and how he came to be.

This week I have talented teenager Owen Rivera on my show, I've known this guy for half of his life and have been teaching him drums since I've met him. He's gone on to sign a deal with a major label recently, he's also an actor and voice over actor, and a multitalented musician! He plays everything! I've been following his career for minute now and I want you to get to know Owen, he's someone you'll be hearing lots about in the future.
This week I have Elliott Mags of the band M.A.G.S., I was introduced to his music and it's something that I enjoyed and I wanted to learn more about his history and wanted to have him on my show. I learned he's related to a legendary guitar rock god, and Elliott got his start in Buffalo New York. I learn about his life as a musician and how he got to where he is today.

I have band Icon For Hire on my show, I filled in for a few tours in their band and it was one of the best experiences I ever had, we talk in detail how we met and what’s happening in their world. They’re one of the hardest working bands and one of the biggest DIY bands I know, they’re story is amazing and inspirational to anyone doing music.
