KEY CONCEPTS:
- multiplying powers with the same base, add the exponents.
- if bases are NOT the same your CAN'T simplify the expression
KEY CONCEPTS:
- Whenever you have an exponent followed by another exponent, keep the base and multiply the two exponents
KEY CONCEPT:
ANY power with an exponent of zero, regardless if the BASE of the power is a number or a variable is equal to 1
a^0=1
999^0=1
KEY CONCEPTS:
- when dividing Powers with the same base, subtract the exponents.
- bases must be the same in order for you to be able to simplify such expressions
