Episode 2 of The Academy Cast discusses Diversity in the UK Tech Sector, and the challenge around inclusivity within the IT industry. We are joined by Naomi Stanley, Senior Professional Development Coordinator and driver of diversity within QAC, to get their thoughts around the topic.

The stats surrounding diversity in technology are quite stunning to look at, with just 15% of workers being from BAME backgrounds (Technation), 16% of adults with Autism in full-time work and a staggering 63% of women feeling dismissed, ignored and not being taken seriously by their male colleagues (DiversityInTech). Today’s podcast looks to discuss what challenges are still present and how we can possibly tackle them.
