Welcome to The Not So Morning Show, segments include Far End of the Bench, The Fn Awards, Loose Lips, and more. No need to wear any PPE, but listener beware, there is some sharp and sometimes witty commentary.
S1E1- In the Big Inning
So we decided to cover baseball, for one season from spring until fall, our intent was to follow the game that some refer to as America's Pastime. Then COVID hit, scrubbing us 3 days after our opening podcast, and a mere 9 days before the 2020 campaign began. Major League Baseball was not alone, the NBA, collegiate and high school sports, youth sports, in general, and life in general was deemed unessential along with the jobs of millions of others.
Our opening episode was pulled down and has been reformatted to better fit the times we live in. The Far End of the Bench Podcast from The Not So Morning Show is a segment of what is a more broad-based series of shows, covering the news of yesterday and today in sports, life, entertainment, and those who may not fit into any of those categories, but we noticed anyway.
This replacement episode now covers not only the sports world but the world in general, it is our 2020 year in review. We also introduce our selection of upcoming programs and mini-casts that were not on our radar last year, but we had a lot of time, and built a better radar.
It is a new big inning.
