The WICKED SPORTS Podcast is a fan's perspective of sports topics from the nosebleed seats. I’ll discuss and give my takes primarily on Boston sports, but also all relevant topics in the sports world. Now I know what you’re thinking, “I don’t need to hear another a-hole with a Boston accent telling me that Brady is the G.O.A.T.” Well I don’t have a Boston accent, but I will go after the voices in the media (you know who they are) with their bias agendas by proving them wrong with opinions backed up by facts.
Today I'll talk about the Mookie Betts/David Price trade including why the trade hasn't been made official yet and a breakdown of what the Red Sox as of now are getting back (aka promising prospects with injury and moral issues). Then we'll discuss the morons that are Red Sox ownership and explain how they keep shooting themselves in the foot time and time again and what they can do to change that.
Today I'll recap Super Bowl LIV including why the 49ers collapsed, who on the team is to blame, what went wrong for Jimmy Garoppolo, and why they couldn't move the ball in the fourth quarter. I'll also discuss the fall out of the Chiefs winning including Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes' legacy and can the Chiefs become the next NFL dynasty
I start off today with a Super Bowl LIV preview breaking down the matchup, what I think people are over looking, and who I think is going to win. I discuss the bets that I think are the best to place and what bets I'd stay away from. I also have a Tom Brady update and award the Moron of the Day to the person that thinks the Patriots are going to trade for Andy Dalton when Tom Brady signs with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.........Lastly I'll recap a statement win for the Bruins against the Jets last night.
How a letter in the mail can make you think.............I'll discuss the state of the Red Sox including their manager search and what to do with Mookie Betts. I'll explain how Mookie Betts and Mike Trout are alike, but not in a good way and what the Red Sox should do with their former MVP. I'll also talk about the status of the Bruins at the the All Star break, review how their season has gone thus far, and what holes need to be filled on the team in order for them to make another run at the Stanley Cup.
In the first episode of The WICKED SPORTS Podcast I give a quick overview of what the podcast will discuss and the two topics for the day. First I get into the 2020 Baseball Hall of Fame results including who got in, the "Moron of the Day", why Curt Schilling should've been voted in, why certain members of the media like Dan Shaughnessy's voting criteria make no sense, and why someone like Larry Walker got in that didn't deserve to. Next I talk about the topic that every sports fan in Boston wants to put their head through a wall when they hear it, "Where's Brady playing next year". I will give my take on the situation and explain why the "hot takes" being thrown around in the media as to where Brady will play next season make no sense.
