Even in the face of COVID 19 there is SO much Scouting happening. Stay cheerful, it can be stressful out there but we need to stay true to who and what we are, and that is SCOUTS!
This episode was a little late getting posted as we were launching the Virtual Campsite on the Mount Baker Council website! In this episode I'm talking about the Sustainable Development Goals that the WOSM and the UN have developed and a great daily challenge developed by the Scouts of Ireland so we can work on a goal a day and help make the world a better place.
This weekend was full of amazing Scouting with the Jamboree on the Internet Special Edition. With Scouts all over the world at home due to the COVID-19 crisis there was great program and fun to be had. In this weekends show we talk about some of the high lights and where you can get in on some of the fun Scouting we "brought" home from JOTI 2020 SE.
We owe it to ourselves, our community and the youth of today to offer Scouting to EVERY youth in EVERY community. That is the topic for this podcast. Followed by announcements of what is happening in Scouting here in North Cascade District.
