Jim Carson has guest Djed and headlined numerous major festivals, raves, and club events including the infamous Oracle 3 Festival with the Wu-Tang Clan & Little Louie Vega, Spundae LA w/ Gabriel & Dresden, Chemistry LA @ Avalon, Puresounds, Twilight Afterhours in Edmonton, and WMC events in Miami @ The Shelbourne & Catalina Hotels.
Carson was a resident at the infamous Circus Disco nightclub in Hollywood for over 3 years and played many headline sets there as a guest for over 10 years from 2001-2011. From 2011-2015, Dharam Deep took a slightly different turn into DJing his own sets and providing sound healing as he lead Kundalini Yoga, Meditation, and Hypnotherapy workshops all over the world from San Francisco to Bali and back again.

Jim Carson was seen walking on water to many people's surprise last week at Koh Ma Beach Resort in the north of the island for a 5-night residency with epic 6 hour plus sets. All but one set was recorded. Sometimes you just have to be there in person to witness it, hear, and feel the music.

Dedicated to Jim's maternal grandmother - Marion - Rest In Peace - such a sweet and lovely soul who always encouraged all people and family members to open their hearts to Jesus and God in a meaningful and loving way that brought family together in a way where the tongue spoke lovely poetry and praise for one another instead of division and hatred. Marion was a great uniter and a huge impact of her grandson and his thought-paradigm and spirit of an open-heart and love for all regardless of background or personal biases. Marion was generous and strong like her grandson, filled with faith and longevity the will to overcome any adversity or battle. JC would answer the calls at 4am in the morning just as he did with this father to be there for Marion when she would fall and hit her head on a TV or sharp object her home. JC and Marion were like two peas in a pod. JC was so proud of his Chicago-born grandmother who appeared in the newspaper with a lion as a young model and who volunteered with the Red Cross during our World Wars. Most of all, he was proud of his grandmother for her love of community, cookies, and bridge. She bridged the gap between generations for her family and was always a guiding force for light in all their adventures to Tijuana and Rosarito, Mexico, where JC was often known to frequent the bars and clubs as a kid with his Grandpa George as little as seven years of age. JC was destined to become a DJ due to his father, grandmother, and grandfather's influence for the club and party lifestyle. He is forever grateful for their love and guidance. May Marion rest in peace and love on her birthday February 28th & 29th each year and leap year. However, ma she never leave Jim's side as an "guardian angel" with her wonderful choices in bringing beautiful people into Jim's life as a “match-maker” and "cupid" of sorts. He truly appreciates his grandmother's wisdom and choice in romantic partners with her magical bow and arrow. She hits the target every time, right on time! That is her special gift in the afterlife. I had a pretty intense morning. I felt like I had given all I could give in a certain relationship and then some, if I were on the receiving end, I would have been extremely happy. But she wasn't. So I really needed to do this mix to release myself from the heartaches and troubles of the day. It felt really good and then I thought about the Back 2 Mine Series and this is what I would play if I were asked to do a set for them. This is not affiliated with Back 2 Mine in anyway shape or form, but I was one of the first regular residents to spin at the infamous Liquid Butterfly club-party starting back in 1998-1999. So I am dedicating this mix to the memory of Liquid Butterfly and how it brought so many of us together in unity, peace, love, and harmony on the dance floor and beyond. Thanks to George & J-Funk for having me play in both funky disco house rooms and progressive house areas. Most of the tracks are old school, or updates & re-edits to 90s old school tracks, but I threw in some newer tracks too including my Ganesha Cartel psychedelic, progressive house single "Space Jungle" (Original Mix) & Patrick Topping "Turbo Time."
At just under one hour this is a perfect way to start your morning or finish your late night-early morning after-hours. This is house music baby! It will set your soul-free! I had a blast doing this all in one-take! Enjoy!

A lot of my family was raised in Chicago and I have had the privilege of DJing there & hanging out at some of the finest house music clubs there like the infamous RED Dog Boom Boom Room, Crobar, & The Metro.

As heard world-premiered on Subliminal Radio 'United We Dance' out of Los Angeles, CA, on 'The House of Anahata Love' back in May 2018 just before Electric Daisy Carnival - Las Vegas - by Insomniac, this classic, jackin' funky house track was written specifically for the radio show when Ganesha Cartel couldn't find a suitable track to mix with his bootleg of Eddie Amador's 'House Music.'
Much of the early versions of the Anahata Love radio show were originals and on the fly remixes put together just days before the show to match previous bootlegs and remixes. In the same vein as Eddie Amador's seminal classic 'House Music' (The Message Mix), 'Welcome To My House' stays true to the roots of house music with organic instruments, guitars, organs, pianos, and urban hip hop vocals.
A warm, fuzzy vocal exclaims, 'Welcome To My House' and you feel right at home with that pumping 4/4 kick, funky organ stabs, 70s guitar licks, and a steady, thumping analog bassline that nearly knocks you out of your forcefield. Through creative layering of various vocal samples, another MC proclaims, 'Forget what you heard, It's about to get dirty, feel your body moving side to side, moving to the beat, haters try to jack my style, run and roll, run and roll.'
Just ask Ganesha Cartel, haters are always trying to jack his style but he always seems to come out on top. Many can imitate, but none can replicate the original. The one and only dominator, there is no other.
This record is dedicated to Lynette Kruger, James Warner, Tim Black, Ernie Cortez, and all of Camp OG at Insomniac for welcoming Ganesha Cartel into their crew this year (even though he is an OG from 95) and providing Anahata Love Recordings with some amazing memories this summer at Electric Daisy Carnival and Nocturnal Wonderland.
