Welcome to Green Pastures, this channel is all about diving into the Word of God and His presence and finding the Truth hidden there.
While there has been innumerable reports and talks about this current pandemic, and people are going crazy and panicking about this virus, one thing stand true. Jesus is King, not Corona. This virus is just an enemy that Jesus whooped 2000 years ago. It doesn't faze Him, and it shouldn't faze us either.
God has a place of refreshment for you today!! The world is a draining place. It has been said that "we are leaky vessels". It doesn't matter what you do or where you go, you are being drained. We are in constant need for refreshment and refueling. God is keenly aware of our situation and of our needs. As a shepherd cares for his sheep and provides every need they may have, and protects them from all harm, so does God for us. Join me as I go through Psalm 23 verse by verse and explore God's care for us.
Romans 8: 1 says that there is "no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus". Period. I Have seen so many believers who still live under the cloud of the fear of condemnation. This episode explores the root issue and also the solution.
God desires us to live with purpose. But not just any purpose: His purpose. When you find your purpose you will discover a few things: 1. It isn't about you. 2. Your call is bigger than you could imagine. 3. You cant do it in your own strength or wisdom. 4. There is an urgency to your call. And 5. God doesn't want us wandering aimlessly through life. Join me as we discuss these 5 truths regarding a believers call.

We shouldn't come to reading or studying the Word of God like any other book. It is not like any other book. It is not just a textbook, history book, or novel. It is alive and active. There is a wrong attitude when you come to the Word and a right one. It deserves all of our respect, our heart, and our time. Join me as we learn the biblical approach to reading the precious Word of God.
There is a type of prayer that transcends our own understanding. It shakes the heavens and brings the Kingdom to earth. In scripture, Jacob shows us a type of persistent prayer that holds on to the promises of God and brings His blessings. God is calling us higher, to dimensions beyond our imagination, where we see Him, face to face and where we are changed.
We are seated with Christ in the heavenly realm!! How awesome is that?! I have seen so many believers walk in a constant state of depression, anxiety, and defeat. This is not who we are. We were made to walk with joy, peace, love, authority, power, clarity, and wisdom. As we realize the truth that we are not of this world, we will experience more of God, more of the kind of life that Jesus paid for.
This teaching is about how to discover your purpose, what the journey looks like, and how we can get inspiration from animals on how to live it out.
One of the most important traits of a healthy Christian is our level of hunger for God. Psalm 42: 1 gives us a picture of what hunger for God looks like. I want to encourage you to stir up a fresh hunger for God's will and ways to invade your life.
We try so hard to make ourselves into who we feel we should be. We have to give ourselves room to grow. If we are so focused on who we think we need to be in the future we will never live in today. Sometimes we have a false image of who we think we need to be. God wants us to give ourselves grace to be who we ARE, who He created us to be.
This episode is just a few thoughts on evangelism and being a witness with our lives. Sometimes it is better not to preach at people but to make an impact in them by the way we live and treat others. We are all evangelists in our own arena.
This episode starts a conversation about Church. When the church struggles to look like the Church we find in scripture, we should start asking ourselves, why? What are we doing that doesn't line up with scripture? Or were the writers of the N.T. exaggerating? Or maybe they got it wrong? I want to stir up our minds to think about the Church's call, globally and from church to church.
Each new year we need to reassess our priorities. According to our vision, what needs to change? What should be moved up the list? What should be moved down? What should be trashed? What should be added? In order to achieve our goals, we need to look at our lives and give ourselves an honest look at if what we are doing currently is going to get us to where we claim we want to go.
God has been giving me things to say for a while and I am just now starting to say them so I will have much to say in the next few months. The audio couldn't fit in one episode so I split it up into two. Part 2 is the same day, same time, and same message.
We are changing courses from the old way I did each episode. I don't know exactly what I will be saying ahead of time so we wont be having series probably. I will have a description of what is going on in this box for the episodes. We have to walk before we can run. I am learning to run and as we progress, things will become smoother and stronger. I am tired of talking about things that I honestly am not passionate about. I have lied to myself and to you when I said that I was excited about this series. I'm not. I am going to talk about what I want to talk about and not what I think I should talk about. I hope you are not offended but I really don't care if you care. I hope you take to heart what I say anyway.

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are very generous givers. Not only did God the Father send His one and only begotten Son, Jesus and the Holy Spirit have also given us others gifts that are for our benefit and fulfillment. He has bestowed upon us a wide variety of tools that He uses to bring health and strength to the Church, and also reflects glory back onto Himself. Many of us have dealt with stress, anxiety, fear...etc. and even in the Church many believers have to take medications because there is a lack of peace. Though the world will always have war, chaos, and noise, Jesus has made it possible for us to walk in peace, no matter the situation. Listen as we discover the peace that Jesus says stays with us forever.
This episode is about the fruit of the Spirit: gentleness. This lesson is a good reminder of the power of a gentle spirit, when you are doing things or when you are talking to people. Gentleness is much more powerful at connecting with, and persuading others, than being forceful or abrasive.
Disclaimer: When I am talking about scriptures on gentleness, I once incorrectly call them "pungent" . What I meant was potent. I apologize. Its kind of funny. But bear with me.
This episode is about the reality of the weakness of our flesh. Our flesh loves to be in control of our decisions. Our flesh is weak by nature. But God's Spirit is strong inside of us and with His help, we can conquer our flesh to make it our slave and live free from sin.

God is going to take us places and make us people we didn't think possible. Right now He is giving us grace for it all. Spend time in His presence and let Him change the way you think. I hope this is encouraging for all of you.
God is a good God. And when we produce the spiritual fruit of goodness in our lives, it brings God glory.
