Episode 61 - Ashley and Joy has a lot to discuss during their lunch break. IT’S JUNETEENTH!!! This is the date 155 years ago that the enslaved population of Texas learned they were free. This was two years following the Emancipation Proclamation signed by Lincoln which formally freed all of the enslaved population of the US. Apparently Texas didn’t get the memo until later. And today as we celebrate emancipation for all, there is realization that there is still a lot of work to do in our country. We are all part of the solution and that’s why we grabbed lunch so we could chat and be free. Ashley and Joy discuss sweet potato pie, generational norms, results from our relationship poll, boundaries, shows and other random things on our lunch break. Lunch really can be better when doing it together. Joy makes some revelations about her own dating life and Ashley talks about graduation from her Masters certifications. Yes can you tell it’s Friday? We are totally random and getting right for the weekend. Follow our antics daily and join our That Wednesday Life community by: 1.
