For today’s episode, I am with Esti Chazanow, co-founder and brand manager of LIV Watches, a watch company dedicated to producing premium and high-quality watches that are authentically Swiss made. We discuss how LIV Watches is a brand she built with her husband Shalom ‘Chaz’ in late 2014, which all began with their first Kickstarter campaign. Esti shares how her background in education, business, and commerce, provided a springboard for her to be able to take on the marketing of the company. She also shares her husband’s journey from starting as a packer for a watch factory, to then product development, and finally becoming a watch trader before coming together to create LIV Watches. In our conversation, Esti shares why they call their customers “fans”, how they experienced organic growth and sales, and what it means to treat your team like family.
