In the early days of DSD’s experience he made many bad and destructive decisions that ultimately hurt his health, sanity, and financial security. He talks about his struggles of realizing his wife, at the time, did not truly care about him and questioning why should he if no one else does. Just that comment/thought right there is seriously destructive and you have to understand YOU are the only person you can count on to take care of yourself. After the monologue DSD answers a comment question of what should I do when I drop my young child off and they cry to not go. Duane then takes a caller who shares a story of how his ex freaked out when he made cookies with their son. Then a listener asks when a child can legally decide where they want to live. A listener asks how to deal with the constant viral and mental attacks from their ex. We then have a return caller who shares they just might get to spend the first Christmas with their children in a few years. Finally we have a caller who just finished mediation that went fairly well. They are working out the details and the caller had questions on how to deal with future 50/50 requests for the 6 month old child.
