The story of the Exodus is a pivotal moment in God’s story.  God is planning something big for the Children of Israel.  God uses Moses and liberates the Hebrew people from slavery.  God is doing the same thing through Jesus.  Jesus is our Passover lamb which saves us from sin and death just as the spirit of death passed over the homes with blood on the door posts.
