In our latest edition of Behind the Art, we chat to local visual artist, Erin Dunne about her life as an artist, and the expectations versus reality throughout 2020 and what that has meant being a regional artist. We also get further insight into Erin’s standout solo exhibition, ‘House’ that has been a pivotal moment in Erin’s career. Paying homage to the spaces that served as cherished moments in Erin’s life, ‘House’ encapsulates a lot of what Erin aims to achieve through her practice. As well as a practising visual artist, Erin is also an arts educator living and working in Central Queensland.
