Today's guest is Brad Stevens - the current President of Basketball Operations for the Boston Celtics and one of the most transformational leaders in the NBA.

Before moving to the Celtics front office, he served eight seasons as the team's head coach - leading them to seven straight trips to the playoffs. Before that, he was head coach of Butler where he led them to their first Final Four in school history and broke the NCAA record for the most wins in any coach's first three years. Through it all, he's built a reputation for staying impossibly calm on the sidelines - even in the most dramatic competitions - and for bringing superstar performances out of players who otherwise may have stayed under the radar.

In this episode, Brad shares his views on when to take big risks, what separates good competitors from great ones, and what it means to be a good teammate in all aspects of life.

This is 3 Things, with Brad Stevens.
