Romans 8:28 says, “and we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose”. But what does this verse really mean? When we’re in the midst of hardship or suffering or tragedy and we hear this verse, we may think, “How can it be true? What even is “good” anyway? How can God use this pain and work it for my good?” This verse is a true comfort for believers, and we can find comfort in the moment.
