Coming down from the mountaintop experience of the transfiguration, Jesus and the three with Him encounter the reality of chaos and disorder in the world in a failed attempt by the rest of the disciples to exorcise a demon. Jesus demonstrates why we must place our faith in Him by bringing order from chaos, His ability to do anything and His preparation of the disciples to follow Him into eternity.
