Jesus doesn’t just want to meet us on Sundays. He wants to meet us in the everyday moments of our lives. In Luke 10, Martha was distracted by many good things, while Mary chose the one thing that was necessary: sitting at the feet of Jesus. So often anxiety, frustration, and unrest reveal that we’ve allowed distractions to replace His presence. Today’s challenge is simple: ask yourself, is what I’m doing about Jesus or about me, where is Jesus at right now, and what is He saying? When we choose His presence first, everything else finds its proper place.
