As children, we regularly embraced discomfort as a standard in our lives learning to walk, talk, ride a bike, do math, read, basically anything that involved our interaction with the world.
As we grow, we develop patterns of thinking, behavior, and assumptions about the world and ourselves which oftentimes causes us to shy away from discomfort under the disguise of staying safe.
In this episode, Chris and Kevin dive into the importance of understanding discomfort as a signal for growth and change. When we learn to expect discomfort when implementing new patterns / behaviors, we can change our perspective around it and actually welcome it as part of our hero's (heroine's, person's) journey.
