Life cycle assessments in the feed industry are becoming a common phenomenon to measure the environmental impact of the business. Collecting data for this task however can be tedious and time consuming. Europe based not for profit, Global Feed LCA Institute (GFLI) is working on making things simpler by building a database on the impact each feed ingredient and process has within the animal protein industry.
