LM, Episode 1095, 12/16/22, War On Christmas

You know what I’ve been missing? Fox News’ annual War on Christmas. Remember when saying Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas was the first step in Liberals making abortion on demand and making everyone marry someone of their same sex?

One year it was the pure evilness of Starbucks replacing the Christmas scene on their cups with a message of peace and harmony because you know how Christ would have hated peace and harmony. That was just one step away from Liberals taking your Christmas tree.

And I blame this on the demise of Bill O’Reilly. When he was taken off the air by Cancel Culture for simply being, in the words of the movie 9 to 5, “a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical, bigot,” it was the beginning of the end of the War on Christmas.

One year Bill said, if John Kerry were elected president, he would cancel Christmas as a national holiday. Mind you there was as much evidence of this happening as there was that the 2020 election was stolen, but the first casualty in the War on Christmas was the truth.

I mentioned how I was missing the War on Christmas to my comedian friend, Mike Preston, and he suggested we load our guns and attack a nativity scene. There is as much chance of this happening as Christmas becoming extinct in America because neither of us own or know how to shoot a gun.

I did find a way out of the dilemma of Merry Christmas versus Happy Holidays. I don’t say either. When someone says one of these to me, I simply reply, “You too.”
