LM, Episode 1102, 12/23/22, (Redo Episode 400, 12/25/20,) I’m Going to Kill Our Son

When our son, Keith, first got his driver’s license, he calls me saying he’s locked the keys in the car. He is 30 miles away and the last thing I need is to waste an hour of my day because of his carelessness.

Apparently I’m speeding because a highway patrolman pulls me over. “Sir, where are you going in such a hurry?”

“I’m going to kill our son.”

“Whoa, wait a minute, you need to calm down.”

“No, if I calm down I won’t do it. In fact, I’m going to kill his sister too because, if I don’t, those two will destroy my life.”

“Listen, I’m not going to give you a ticket, it’ll be okay, just relax.”

“Fine, but I hope you can sleep at night knowing my misery is on your hands.”
