LM, Episode 1122, 1/12/23, A Dick Joke

When we lived in Kansas City, I worked at the old Stanford’s Comedy Club.  There was a young comic who took great offense that I worked clean.  He was genuinely angry that I got bigger laughs than he did with his array of dick jokes.

One night in the green room, he asks, “So, Kent, have you written anything PG?”

I go, “No, have you written anything funny?”

But this weekend I inadvertently wrote a dick joke and I want to dedicate it to that young comic.

Dick Van Dyke is one of the few times you’ll see dick and dyke together.  In fact, you’ll never see those three words together unless it’s in a joke.  Two dykes are sitting in a van.  One asks, “Where did you get this dick?”
