LM, Episode 1129, 1/20/23, Congressman Santos

New York Congressman, George Santos, seems to have trouble telling the truth.  He says he’s rich, yet he and his sister got evicted from an apartment for not paying rent.  He says he worked on Wall Street, but neither firm has any record of him working there.  He says his grandmother was in the Holocaust, yet she was Catholic and was born in Brazil.  

I have enjoyed the Facebook posts about him.  One has him saying,  “the Catholic Church was in better shape I was Pope.”  After it took Kevin McCarthy 15 votes to be elected Speaker of the House, there’s one of Santos saying, “I was elected Speaker of the House in one vote.”  But my favorite has a picture of his in mutton chop side burns saying now that Lisa Marie Presley is dead, George Santos is the last remaining child of Elvis.
