In between the decades-long leaderships of Sir Wilfrid Laurier and William Lyon Mackenzie King, there is Daniel Duncan McKenzie, who served for only a few months in between in 1919.

While his time was short, he was the bridge between these leaders. As well, from the municipal, to the provincial, to the federal levels, he never once lost an election.
