In this podcast Chit Win discusses his doctoral research which questions the role of Myanmar’s legislature (the Hluttaw) during the country’s transition from military rule. Chit Win is a PhD candidate at the Coral Bell School of Asia Pacific Affairs at the Australian National University (now graduated, 2017). Prior to this he was a diplomat for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Daw, being posted to Jakarta and Tel Aviv.
