We’ve been studying the gospel of John as a church this year. Let’s take a Sunday and review what John tells us about the life of Jesus. John starts his story with the baptism of Jesus, and ends with the resurrection – which is emblematic of baptism. In other words, the critical years of Jesus’s life and ministry were lived between two baptisms. Shouldn’t the same be true of us?
