Jesus comes back to the other side of the shore, and a paralysed man is brought to Him. Seeing his immediate need is easy, he’s paralysed; but Jesus sees deeper. Jesus sees that what he needs is to have his sins forgiven. We are all like that, in need of Jesus; some needs more obvious than others, but what we really need is to know the forgiveness of God and the grace of Jesus.
