We got a call to our studio line today from a woman named Donna Bean. She wanted us to know about PFC Wayne “Red” McDowell, of Mattoon. He served our country in World War II, being a part of the Amercial Division of the 164th Infantry in the Pacific. Red is going to be 97 years old on June 23rd. Donna is Wayne's granddaughter and asked us if we could help her with a card shower for Wayne's birthday.
