In the middle of a Mexican jungle (literally in the jungle an oasis carved our with machetes and will power), a very insightful conversation came up between a few businesses owners.

The conversation was about protecting your business and what can you do when you are a smaller business in the face of giant businesses that you are competing against.

Here were a couple of thoughts:

1) All businesses started small at some point
2) Build a brand that keeps people coming back
3) Innovate and show that you still add value
