According to the NSPCC, “Bullying is behaviour that hurts someone else. It includes name calling, hitting, pushing, spreading rumours, threatening or undermining someone. It can happen anywhere – at school, at home or online. It’s usually repeated over a long period of time and can hurt a child both physically and emotionally.”

In this episode we discuss our experiences of bullying and how it has affected us to this day. Bullying not only occurs in the school playground, but it can follow us to social media and even the workplace. There’s various methods and techniques you can employ to stop this behaviour from happening. The key thing to remember is that you’re not alone and there’s always somebody who can relate or help you in that situation. Understand that bullying on any level is not acceptable, so you shouldn’t have to tolerate it. Understand when to seek help and report incidents when they occur.

“Hurt people, hurt people.” That’s a mindset everybody should employ for empathy, even to the bully. There’s a reason for negative behaviours and sometimes all it can take is a little compassion to sort things out. We hope you enjoy this one and we welcome all feedback.
