This weekend Steve discusses the life of Paul and how he had to interact with his fellow Jews. Paul was once a very religious man who set out to destroy those in the Christian faith. Paul was raised knowing the law and persecuting those who did not follow the law. When Christ changed Saul's life and gave him a new name, Paul's mission was to help explain the difference between the law and God's grace. Part 10 of our series in the Book of Romans takes us to Romans 6:14. Steve talks about the law and how the law will always win against us. Jesus did not come to do away with the law, but to fulfill the law. He did that by being the only person in history not to sin and fall prey to the law. The victory Jesus won by defeating the law now allows us to be victorious through Him and not on our own merit. Join us this weekend to hear more about this wonderful news.

Part 9 of our series in the Book of Romans takes us to the first part of Chapter 6. Steve discusses how we are to become overcomers of our sinful nature since we have been made new by our commitment to Jesus Christ. We know that God's grace covers a multitude of sins, but we certainly do not want to take advantage of that grace by not examining ourselves and changing our lifestyle to become more like Jesus.

In Part 7 of our Series in the Book of Romans, Steve take a look at how to suffer well. Suffering well does not seem like something anyone looks to attain, however; many of the early Christians suffered for the cause of Christ and did so by making the most of their suffering. Paul was in prison often, but did not let being there discourage him. He used whatever situation God placed him in to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We too can "suffer well" in any circumstance, as we know God is with us every step of the way.

In Part 5 of our series of the Book of Romans, Steve takes a look at how to be accepted by God. A lot of times we think we can work our way into heaven by doing things, never missing a church event or giving large amounts of money to the church. Although none of these things are horrible, we are accepted by God because of what Jesus did for us on the cross and our acceptance of that gift. Join us as Steve expounds on this wonderful news of the Gospel.

He reveals himself to his created in many ways and gives everyone the opportunity to come into a relationship with Him.

We begin a new series in the Book of Romans this weekend. Steve will be discussing what our assignment is while we are on the earth. The writer of the Book of Romans, Paul, has much to say concerning why we are here and what our role is during our lifetime. Paul had his own plan in life until God miraculously showed Himself to Paul and changed the course of Paul's life. God wants to do the same with us; reveal Himself to us and then show us the desired life he has planned for each and every one of us.

This week Steve continues the story of Joseph and the comeback he experiences in his life. God always has a plan in place even though we may not see it or understand what we are going through. Trusting in God is difficult, but as His children we must believe He has our best interests at hand. Everything which seemed to be a negative for Joseph ended up being a good thing and positioned him to save his people.

View Details

This week Steve takes a look at the life of Joseph and his brothers. As we read the story of Joseph, we all would agree the events which happened to Joseph were not fair. God tells us in the Bible that His ways are not like our ways. God uses the events of Joseph's life to save nations. Think about all the events in your own life which you might consider to be unfair. Do you think God might be using those events for a greater purpose? God uses adverse situations to show all of us how we can overcome and be used to bring glory to His name. So today, don't look at your problem as a problem, but come back to God knowing He has a plan and a purpose for what you are going through.

Steve takes a look at the law of Passion in Part 13 of our series Game Changers. In easy terms, passion can be thought of us loving something or someone in a way which makes it/them a priority. As the Bible states in Revelation 2:1-7, we must always be weary of losing our "first love" to God and we must continually find a way to renew our love toward Him. This week Steve looks at some ways which can take away our passion for God, but ends the teaching by showing us how to regain our passion through a heart transplant.

In Part 12 of our series Game Changers, Steve looks at 5 ways to reform to God's way of doing things. We all want to be successful in our walk with Christ, so knowing how to reform ourselves into the image of Christ is important. Steve takes a look at how the Bible and its knowledge which lies there within can benefit a believer as they strive to please God and people.

This week Steve takes some lessons the kids will learn at our Vacation Bible School and teaches one important lesson about trust. Steve zeros in on one particular story in the Bible, which finds Paul and the ship's crew being shipwrecked. Paul tried to tell them not to sail, but was overruled by the majority. When the situation got out of control, Paul tells them to TRUST God and do what He says; and if they do, none of them would perish. Trust is something everyone struggles with because everyone has had a trust broken. We must learn to trust God, because even though others let us down, God never lets us down.

This week Steve takes a look at one of the most famous stories in the Bible. Almost everyone has heard of the story of David and Goliath. We all have Goliath's in our lives and we need to choose to take on this battle and not be afraid. God has prepared His children for every battle they will face and He has promised to be with us every step of the way. God uses our life experiences to help us overcome all obstacles we face. Always try to remember what God has already done in your life and use those experiences to win the battles you will face. Always listen to God first and trust Him when he guides you into battle.

This week Steve takes a look at reconciliation. We all have a need to be reconciled to our creator God Almighty. God provides us with an avenue to seek reconciliation through his son Jesus Christ. Once we have been reconciled to God we can then work on being reconciled with other people. Since we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, we all need to be reconciled to one another as well. We continue to allow God to transform us so we can be ambassadors for Christ.

This week Steve again examines the life of Moses. Moses was very overworked and stressed because of all the people needing him for everything. I bet you can relate in this day and age we live in! Moses father-in-law suggests that Moses should empower the people and let others begin to do the work Moses has been doing. Moses humbles himself and asks for help (this is a great lesson for all of us to learn and implement) from the people by appointing judges. The lessons learned this week will definitely help us in our lives today.

This week Steve takes another look at the life of Elijah and how he was burned out. We discover that God never leaves us and always makes provisions for us along our way. We also see that God has a road map for us when we are weary and ready to give up. Steve provides us methods to overcome the times in our lives when we grow tired and weary. Our story of Elijah also shows us how one day we can be on top of the mountain and the next we are in a low valley. Even though this happens to all of us, God always values us as his children and waits to help restore us throughout our lifetime.

View Details

This week Steve continues to focus on Elijah and how God was able to provide a miracle for him and others. Too often we look for the miraculous only in our time of need. However, God provides miracles for each and every one of us every single day. We wonder why certain situations happen to us and question whether or not God knows what is happening. God is always in control and knows all things, so we have to trust Him to provide our miracle at the right time in the right place. Keep focused on Him and he will take care of your every need at the proper time.

There are many people in the Bible who we would consider to be “Game Changers”. The great thing about these men and women are they were messed up just like you and me. This week we take a look at Elijah, who had problems just like you do. He went through the same emotional struggles that you and I face. However, he always persevered and followed God regardless of what struggle he was going through. Elijah saw mighty miracles performed right in front of his own eyes. We too can see God perform miracles today in our lives.

In this lesson Steve discusses how our insecurities can keep us from being all God intended us to be. We know with God's help and our faith in God, we can always overcome the vulnerabilities we all are bombarded with on a daily basis.

This message is a message of hope and love from a loving Savior who longs to be in communion with those He created. This week Steve shows us how to keep our dreams alive when we are faced with adversity. As we delve into the life of Asa (2 Chronicles 14) we see how we can keep moving forward with the dream God has given us. We tend to get stuck when we face adversity. We often try to blame others for our situation when the truth is we simply live in a fallen world. God is asking us to take a risk and follow Him. Allow God to remove everything which tends to weaken your faith and make adjustments, knowing God has ordered every step of your path.
