Welcome to The Qualified Tutor Podcast

To try and get a better understanding of the situation in schools during this time, this week we're speaking to Mordechai Keet, a 6th form student whose A-level preparations have been severely disrupted by the enforced school closures. Mordechai is a committed and engaging student with big plans for the future and here, he is able to give a brilliant new take on the situation.

At the heart of this disruption is the pupils themselves, whose short- and long-term futures have been threatened by the lack of exams, clarity and confidence. Mordechai admits honestly that he is nervous about the grades his teachers will give him for his final-year exams and what this could mean for university entrance and beyond.

We hope this is the first of many conversations we have with students on The Qualified Tutor Podcast, as their voices are often forgotten in and amongst the higher-level education system planning. We are here to listen to students, to parents and to tutors and the community we're building will be a vibrant soundboard of the ideas of all three groups, and more.

The QT Podcast exists for those tutors about to take the plunge into the profession, for those that already have but want to strengthen their practice or simply for those in education who love hearing about what others are doing and what tips they can take from it. We are all constantly learning and there is no better place right now to hear about the developments in e-learning and education through tutoring than The QT Podcast.
