Notes:
Books and resources recommended: You can journal your goals and progress or form a group of trusted colleagues or friends to support your efforts. There are also a lot of books and blogs, and even TED Talks, to learn more. I recommend the book, Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman. It came out in 1995 and is still relevant. A more recent book is Emotional Intelligence 2.0 by Travis Bradberry and Jean Greaves. Another good book to read is Daring Greatly by Dr. Brene Brown. Dr. Brown studies vulnerability, courage, worthiness, and shame. She helps us to go from where we are to where we want to be. A relevant TED Talk is "How to Be Your Best Self in Times of Crisis" by Susan David. She talks about not only the battle with the virus, but also the battle in our minds.
